Will skiing still be around?

With "global warming" will skiing survive 20 years from now?

When will everybody get their act together?
 
well colorado and such places seem to barely be affected by it. I'm sure there'll still be plenty of pockets that aren't hurt by it. and eventually people will stop fucking up the environment as much as we do now, not entirely of course. and once we do the ozone can heal itself we just need to give it sometime.... i dont think skiing is really in danger of disappearing, but it certainly isn't gonna always be what it used to be. particularly for us unfortunate east-coasters.
 
yea but that is cus we are from the east and we always get shafted by the weather, that is nothing new.
 
Yes global warming is def starting to affect us but this year is not all because of global warming, its just a weird year. There will always be skiing even if we have to go to indoor skiing. I think within 20 years there will be some new kind of snowmaking that revolutionizes everything.
 
yeah, some places can alredy make snow at +2. someone will prolly invent something insane that makes snow ant like +10
 
They have snowmakers that make snow in any temp. Tenney Mountain in NH had one (theyre like 1/2 a million dollars) and I was able to get some turns in October 5th that year.
 
you're all stupid. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO OPERATE SNOWMAKERS WHEN THERE IS NO OIL? The energy crisis in the world is just as big as global warming and they work hand in hand.
 
Yeah they'll still be skiing in parts of the world,
