If it's rail damage probably not, but if it just happened on like a rock or something maybe.

WOW you are hard on skis! Like above ^ if any of its from rails youre probably out of luck, but if any is from a legit defect then give them a call

No most likely not
but this is a big problem in the ski industry today ... will not waranty rail damage ???? that is soooo ridiculous they need to make skis more durable on the bottoms and warranty edges that fall out when doing what the ski was made for

Yeah its so ridiculous to not warranty something when its getting smashed into a handrail a million times during a season.

beleive it or not they are. i have multiple friends who ride them, and the thread even says he got those DISORDERLYS for thanksgiving.....smooth

yeah i think i know what kinda ski i ride. yes i rode them in the park but come on, they should not look like that after 1 season. rediculous. im gonna try

my friend had these and he had the same proble and K2 sent a new pair after he sent them in so id try theres nothing to loose

Also where can i get my hands on a PFC sticker

PM me if you can get me one +K

The topsheet damage is kinda normal, so they wouldn't warranty that. The rail/base damage though... Holy hell. You can see exactly where you slide rails. Because of how obvious it is that it's rail damage, and that the rest of the bases are fine I doubt they'd warranty them. Might as well email K2 though.

You may as well try to get them warrantied, I find it's better to go through a local shop than try to contact a company directly though. I wouldn't say they are even too bad, they are definitely rallied, but I know people who's every day skis are in worse condition than that.

Dont waste the company's time with this shit. This is why prices go up. Jackasses like you beat stuff to death and demand a warranty

your post makes no sense. i used k2s park specific ski for just that, riding park. they should last longer than a year. this is the third pair of k2s ive bought in 3 years, they keep getting fucked up, but i like the way they ride so i keep buying them. i dont count riding rails as beating a ski to death if it was meant to be a park ski. these skis were never ridden on urban or shit like that, just parks. small ass midwest parks to be precise

warranty doesnt cover rail/impact damage, yes it is a park ski, but if you are riding a ski hard enough to beat it to shit after 1 year then you need toA: buy stronger skisB: Treat your skis better

Lasting a year is great for a park ski. You just got told by 15 people that those skis are trashed by your own action.

This photo directly shows that you have smashed the edge into a rail or something similar, - honestly any company to warranty them would be stupid

How many days did they have?

It looks like they had a pretty decent life man, if they are your full time park ski then i'd be stoked you got a whole season out of them, because many skis wouldn't even make it that far

im just saying that a ski advertised as a park ski should withstand park use for at least a little while. hell on the product page on k2s website for the disorderly theres a picture of a guys sliding a box, and in the product depscription they say it is good for sliding rails. so i think its absurd that if i use my ski for what k2 advertises them for, that they say fuck you too bad

A: whats wrong with asking k2 to make a durable product

B: i treat my skis as well as possible, wax often, fill base gouges etc.

Read salomon's response when it comes to warranty claims. You can apply to your scenario as i'm fairly sure K2 would adopt a similar stance.

Basically skis will break over time if they are subjected to the ongoing abuse which terrain parks cause.

If you are landing on metal rails in such a way that any ski edge would blow out, then you won't get warranty.

If the ski breaks within a reasonable amount of time, then you could expect a warranty..

But if you are saying that those skis have had a decent year of use, then I would expect them to have some damage by now, and in no way is that a fault with the ski, it's just a side-effect of skiing park and rails.

From the photos, it's obvious that they have seen better days, but they have definitely had a fair run..

So with the logic that a lot of you have provided here, if I were to ride my K2's on rails, rocks, gravel, and pavement I too should be entitled to a new set via warranty because the ski's did not hold up the way they were supposed to?? How about if I hit a tree sticking out of the ground and it gouges my bases? Is this too covered under warranty?

As has been said so clearly until now...you ravaged those skis.

Are they park skis? Yes.

Are they designed to be ridden in the park, and therefore on rails? Yes.

Will ANY ski you use on rails eventually blow out it's edges and get the damage you have on yours? Big fat yes.

Simple fact is that they warranty against "manufactured defects", like for instance your edge wasn't set properly, or something else that it came from the factory with.

Your skis from the factory were in awesome shape, you did all the damage, blatantly and on purpose by riding the way you did.

Move on, use these as long as you can, then make them your urban ski.

Why would they warranty those skis? You skied them hard and eventually they became deceased. Why don't you people understand that? No company should have to give you new skis cause you hit rails for 60 days and then your edge came out and your base got fucked. That's like saying, " Will you warranty my shoes because I skated in them and they ripped?" Think for two seconds and you will realize that you fucked up your skis, cause you were skiing hard, and that is a good thing; it means you did it right, but it also means that you're just gonna have to get new sticks. That's the cost of skiing hard.

they will def not warranty those. it is soooo clear that it is rail damage and they will spot that so fast. i mean its worth a try but you trahsed your skis to shit didnt take care of them at all. give em a call or watever might work who knows but i doubt it

im shocked that is all from just this year. im still riding my 07 fujis and they are jjust a lil scratched + some core shots in the topsheet.

all k2 top sheets are like that too. i think any ski past 2008 has shitty edges. for some reason i didnt start having problems with them until then.

with all do respect man, after seeing what all these people have said to you and your responses, you gotta quit looking for defects in the company (cuz K2's pretty reputable) and start looking at how you ski and how that's fuckin up all your ski's year after year. think about it!

i realize. but im not gonna stop doing rails. im giving up on the warranty, just gonna pick up another pair postseason on the cheap

Sorry to say man, but it doesn't look good.

I'm amazed you managed to slaughter those things so thoroughly.
