I found out that at your local home depot you can buy like the top part of a chain link fence, the post the runs across it ya know. It's $10 for 10 feet, which i find to be a prettty good deal, you think this stuff would slide well? One of my friend's dad can weld it for me so thats no problem but i just need to know if any of you have some experience with it and know if it'll slide or not. Here's a link to it on home depot:

and if it doesn't slide at first, you can always grease the pole up with a little lube, that'll make it slide in better
