Will Ferrel new boss on The Office

I was watching the end of the office and since Steve Carrel is leaving they said that Will Ferrel will be the new boss.

The show can maybe survive now.
 
yea wtf why did they introduce ricky into the show a few episodes back if he's not going to be the boss?

oh well, i'm not going to watch it after steve leaves no matter who takes his spot
 
are you serious? dawg i feel bad, if you dont laugh at the office then you must never laugh. the actors are great, the whole show is just different frmo other shows to make it seem realistic.
 
im really going to miss steve carrel.. no doubt will ferrel is hilarious, but steve has his own style; he can make you actually feel akward over something that happens on tv. he just does things in such a strange fashion

will ferrel is still on a very high level of comedy.. which i love. but im not sure its the same style.. im just not sure its going to be the same type of show.. still if anyone would be chosen i gues you cant do better then will ferrel..

im just worrying i guess
 
I sometimes feel like the show won't be the same without Michael, but if they play it right and Dwight is still the boss's bitch then the show will still be dope!
 
i thought they were gonna have the british guy be the boss cause that one episode where he comes out the elevator. and at the end he said tell me if any jobs open up. but will, will do.
 
ferrel is only filling in for the last 3 episodes of this season as a temporary boss...still no definite as to who is going to be boss enxt season
 
He's not playing Michael Scott, he's just the new regional Scranton branch manager for Dunder Mifflin because Micheals movin to Colorado with Holly.
 
NOOOOOOOOO i cant stand will farrel - he just isnt that funny. he gonna be doing his stupid ass whiny voice all the time and i just hate that!!!
 
That was my opinion too until I started watching it this season, and it's actually funny. Not a fan of Steve Carrel, definitely stoked for Will Ferrel though.
 
If the funniness escalates over a period, this could first lead to pushing your lips together. Once you reach the laugh threshold, it pops out with a 'B' noise preceding the 'haha' part of the laugh.

It might breath new life into the show. I'm pretty sure Will is just a temporary replacement though.
Usually I disregard the Office and acquire Community and 30 Rock.
 
i love will ferrell but keeping the show going with him when steve leaves is fucking retarded, i hate when they pull shit like that
 
I know that. I watched it last night. What I meant was that no one can replace his antics and the way he plays the boss.

Really? This cannot be replaced? The only good thing I've seen Carell do was in Little Miss Sunshine and it was subtle drama comedy, something he should try more often instead of shit like this or that horrific movie with Galifianakis, Rudd etc. Dinner with something.
 
yeah i agree. I don't think it will ever be the same, but as long as the writers keep it from becoming a big SNL skit it will be funny. It will never be "The Office" again though.
 
Steve Carell is way more funny than Will Ferrel. I mean anyone can make a sexual joke but Steve Carell makes the stupidest things funny
