Will Ahmet ever return from Indonesia??

Are you even allowed to come back into the US? Plus he's definitely not missing much here, most stuff is restricted or entirely closed and Indo has some sick surfing for him to take advantage of

I think if you are a US citizen, you can come back you just have to sit at home for 14 days.
 
Hey guys! I like the Poll haha, made me laugh for sure. Heres the deal, The past couple years i have been going to indonesia in the summer time. I'm able to stretch out the money I make skiing and live my ideal life. I surf everyday and am able to eat healthy organic fruit/vedgetables without going broke. Truly my kind of lifestyle out here, relaxing island life.

When the whole Pandemic started to hit, i was in europe. They closed down the ski resorts in europe and more and more borders were being locked down so the future looked pretty bleak to try to ski the rest of the winter. America was going crazy with shutting everything down as well, The airports to fly back to the US had insane traffic and its in the beginning of the chaos, so no idea how bad this virus truly was. I didnt want to be surrrounded by thousands of people.

Since ive been in Indonesia I've been free to do nearly whatever I want. I'm able to afford to live out here, and i feel at peace especially when i look at how crazy these events have unfolded in the US and what kind of pandora box has started to open. I'm so bummed to miss out on the spring and summer season in mt. hood and utah. such a bummer we all have to face this.

To answer the question, I may never come back, babylon is burning down and its not taking me with it haha. good health to everyone though and dont let fear or anger control your emotions through this time, I'm seeing tons of division being sowed through the US. Dont direct your hatred towards eachother, hate the fucked up corrupt babylonian system instead!

yahp. do you consider skiing to be part of the babylonian system? how do you negotiate your relationship with the activity when parts of it are so complicit not only in environmental degradation but also in reinforcing social segregation and inequalities?

let's keep this thread lighthearted man not everything has to be political.

also, ahmet is one of the few sponsored skiers who is non white AND he comes from a muslim, working class background, so I think that every day he spends on skis is helping to break down social segregation and inequalities in the sport.
