I'll be skiing there this year. I couldn't afford the new england pass and the 119 wildcat pass was too good to give up.

I'm kinda bummed there isn't a real park or anything, but maybe with the new owners, they will make some changes. I'm still stoked to ski some trees though.

I've never skied there, so it should be a nice change of pace.

I hope I see you guys there, I have a red sessions jacket and black pants. Make sure you give me a shout if you see me so we can ski some trees.

I was up there on friday morning and sat. and I saw some people that looked like they could be nsers. I was in a red sessions jacket/burton hoodie on fri. and a level1/jiberish hoodie on sat. The snow was soft but the coverage in the trees looked decent, but not great by anymeans, but I didn't get to ski alot of them because I forgot my rock skis :( Only the bottom of thompson's brook and one other run.

I would definitely suggest checking out the tree skiing, but there will probably be some thin patches, bring your rock skis if you have a pair. On top of the areas marked as tree skiing on the trail map, you should check out Thompson's Brook if the snow is decant and you have at least one other person to ski with, It can be found skiers right at the very top of the polecat trail. It is out of bounds, so ski patrol isn't going to save you're ass if you hurt your self in there, it is tight, long, and there are very few ways out. Last Year I spent over 4 hours on a powder day getting out of the brook after I took a wrong turn. BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO IN! If at all possible, go in with someone who has been before.

and @steezedog

They have a flat rail, a box, and a rainbow box (not setup yet), with talk on fbook of them possibly getting a few more.

i really hope wildcat doesnt get a park, sorry guys, i love wildcat for still being a raw classic New England mountain. Great tree skiin, nice and tight like a nun.

I'll be there again today, I was to busy skiing some leftover knee-deep pow stashes to really focus on then park. give me a shout! I lve still got the red plaid jacket with black pants
