wild this year is horible, DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME AND MONEY. thery have horible costomer service and all their rails and boxes are completly fallin apart
 
i must admit, i have been VERY dissappointed in wild this year. overall their park management has been crap so far - ohh lets get a few rails up on the park - oh sweet now lets take it all down and blow snow - ok now time to reset the park - nope nevermind that was a waste of time i guess we need more snow - now its time to reset. last year it seemed very organized and well thought out. i dunno what happened this year but i mean Afton is better at this point - they have even had 2 comps already.
 
super fun step up into 30 foot table witha nice landing. Then all of the bigger rails are set on pads its pretty fun
 
wheres wild's 30 ft rainbow box, rainbow rail, c-box, c-rail, and countless other sweet rails. Ya, no, wild sucks, even if they make a jump, wait 5 hours it'll we be icy shit, then wait 2 months for them to groom it. no one can say wild has a good setup when they dont even have good shit
 
honesly action the jumps are probably some of the better shaped ones they have built If you can point out a better jump withing 70 miles let me know casue I'll go ski there. Wild doesn't have a c-rail or a rainbow box so I don;t know where you got your info. If you don't like it go ski somewhere else your obviously not having fun at wild.
 
wild doesnt have those things, afton does, so i dont see how people can rip on afton when wild is so much shittier. When i was at afton, the park crew was actualy out there doing something (wild's park crew watchs other people do their job) either way, wild cant build decent stuff for shit
 
yea and the park crew doesnt jst stand there, most are tight, if you want somethin different just ask one of us and well change it up
 
I personally worked until 2 am last fri putting those rails in the ground your right that the set up isnt amazing, so go ride at afton
 
All haters need to stay away, only love for any area committed to putting stuff in the ground. I personally believe those of you who are knockin' ANY area don't know what it takes to develop the overall park experience. Our park crew not only rips, but is committed!!
 
yeah but if you think about it there could be some liability problems if they let just anyone help out in the park. if somebody got hurt on a rail and found out that it wasnt setup by park managment then im pretty sure wild could get in some trouble
 
same way with welch too about the park manager turning down help we offer alot but he wont take it...only good thing about welch is we've never had tables with bigger gaps and little kids just go off land in the middle then go down the landing so the landing ususally stays nice
 
thanks for making my point better...aftons park crew....the chiarlifters, are better then Wilds park crew...the fuck ups
 
fuck you I'm not a fuck up I know everyone at afton who is on the "park crew" you guys should get your park crew and build a jump and some pads for rails instead of burying them on the flats maybe I would come check it out
 
That is NOT afton's park crew. It doesn't say they are. You can call afton and ask for Matt. He builds all of the features and hires all of the help. You really need to visit before you start ripping on them. They are out there all the time grooming.

I can't speak to the skier portion of wild's park crew as I've never seen any of you out there but the snowboard half of the crew were real assholes to many out there a couple weeks ago. Also, I can speak to the fact that the park crew manager has quite the temper when he's out on the hill. I heard someone above wasn't allowed to help and just a few weeks ago (my last trip to wild) a couple buddies and I were yelled at to "Get our shit off and come help."

Sure, wild has a decent jump, or so I've heard. But it's certianly not worth $34 a day to me. To be a great park, you've gotta be good all around, stop bragging about your decent table and figure your rail/box/service shit out.

Why don't we all stop arguing about this stupid shit. Clearly we're all looking for something different in a park, and if you can find it at Wild, great. If not, try afton, maybe hyland or wherever. Hell, hit up your local highschool handrail, who cares. There is NO reason to be arguing about it though.
 
I never said wild was great all I know is some kid called me a fuck up who has absolutley no idea what it takes to build a park
