Wierd ski brake problem with look px12's

my brake wasnt deploying all night which i thought was wierd because i could still clip in. i just got home and looked at the brake that was acting up and the break had come out of the heel pad totaly. i managed to pry up the metal plate covering the underside of the heel pad and slip the brake back in (wasnt easy) and now it seems to be fine. anyone had this prob?

Dude I have at least one break on me every year...rei and backcountry got what you need for spare breaks (a pair for 50)...I talked to the rossi guys and they pretty much said once u enter the park waranty is gonebee...nice bindings but it pisses me off...
