T thecarguy Member Feb 9, 2006 #6 They aren't more awkward spinning if you mount close to center. This just requires a softer wide ski. Like the Made'n...which is my park ski. I'm 6'5"...nobody makes traditional park skis big enough so I resorted to Made'ns...they are so much more stable.
