Wide mount -1 -2

I found one thread on this topic, but I didn't find enough info to decide. I drilled my puffy wide + a while back center, but since then, I've realized 2 of the holes are stripped, and even though I may try Helicoil them, I think maybe I should just try a different mount point for fun (mainly bc it my spring touring ski with cast lol). So anyone have experience with -2 or -3? To be honest, I have no clue where to start; I could go -1 or try something further for laughs. 'm also aware that it won't change skiing drastically.

I am also aware threads on vish related to Mount are annoying, I was just wondering your opinions those with more knowledge than I, thanks

I think -1 could be sick specially for more all mtn skiing but the best bet is to just flip em, mount upside down its a fully symmetrical ski. Ive done that with my last 3 pair of wides try to look really suspicious when you ask your local shop to do that

I have mine at -2 and also use them for touring with Daymakers (as well as resort/park). I don't have any complaints, but I've also never had them at center, so I don't have that experience for comparison.

I also used mine for touring and park and chose to mount them at -2, worked great for me. Also if you already have a mount at center it might be good to go -2 instead of -1 to keep your next mount from pulling out.

keep it center and just go inside a cm.

jokes but i do wonder how that would ski lol.

clearly i dont know a fuckin thing about mounts lol but i would assume as far as possible from all the other holes while still maintaining close to center would be ideal so depending on the bolt pattern probably -2 but idk

-1 might not give you enough space and the existing holes may be very close to new, something to be aware of. I've got my uppers mounted at -1 and honestly can't tell a difference, imo i'd go -2 or enough to clear existing holes roughly

I remounted them as close to the center as possible based on the core's integrity. I think its around -2 (or 3 yikes) would need to get a measuring tape, don't think the difference will be major, but a non center mount on a symetrical ski worries me as I've never done this before. I don't expect anything wrong, but we shall see!

thanks for reading through my shitty grammar

thanks for all yalls replies!
