Ok, so i shoot with a DVX100p, and i have a budget of 200$ So if i want quality glass then ill have to buy used which is no problem at all, but i can either get a 0.45x 16x9inc fisheye for 200$ shipped or a 0.6x century optics wide angle for 150$ shipped both are pretty minty, but im not sure which one i should get and if this helps at all, i shoot 60% skiing and snowboarding 20% skateboarding, 10% bmxing, and 10% fruitbooting, i also sometimes shoot short films but that doesnt matter...

yeah, im not sure ive always seen non distortion as looking alot cleaner, but the fisheye comes in handy while filming skating

My guess is you will get more use out of the wide-angle. If i see more than like 5 fish-eye shots in a segment it starts to annoy me, but I could watch wide angle shots all day.
