you wouldn't understand bro there so core bro sustainable is super core bro your just not core bro

wouldn't a company that makes skis that last a long time, they don't make more then they can sell, they pair up with other companies in order to get the materials they need and most of those materials come from the same country they are located in be considered sustainable?

I dunno I was just trying to make a joke

If you have the money, it's always fun to try product from a new brand especially one coming from the core of the sport.

DPS is about the only one I can think of that sells a stock ski over a grand.

I haven't checked but I'd be willing to bet Fischer does and then theres FIS spec race skis and binding systems that will cross a grand.

they are mad expensive, but I guess that's the price you have to pay for skis that are mostly produced in a sustainable way.

Kastle, Volle, Stockli, Volkl... it's a euro thing and a market that just isn't represented here on NS.

It does seem over there it's a way more rich persons sport then here. And that's saying something. But yeah all those euro brands. Blizzard as well

Sustainability should matter to you if you want your grandkids’ grandkids to be able to ski

It does matter. But skis have such a minute effect. I’ll keep buying my used skis for 150 bucks that get me through the season and then some.

What you dont realize is that is more sustainable than buying new skis

I agree, buying used skis is the most sustainable option

WNDR Alpine fills the void for those of us that are more into touring, why not have a susatanible all mountain/park company? It makes sense.

Wndr's Vital 100 is a pretty good all-mountain ski. I really like my Intention 110s. The vitals feel like a less-toury version which is great. Im a huge fan of Wndr's vision.

So 1000 skis is all about “sustainability”right? Well what makes them sustainable is what the are ski factory they are made in does (100% renewable energy, recycling excess plastics and wood, etc) and not necessarily something 1000 skis is doing specifically correct? Because in that case the same factory makes the RMU rippah, YLE and the apostle series at the same level of sustainability. So if you think you are paying extra for sustainability in 1000 skis, I’d consider looking at the $499 rmu rippah for a cheaper “sustainable” ski.

I have heard that the skis are eh, but they are also not really designed as inbounds skis.

I absolutely loved touring with them. Had a few of the guys, Matt and Jeremy, swing in Bozeman and go out for a rip. That said, the ones i skied are geared for touring.

this website is most definitely fake and you will not get skis.

Nice skis but I’m a little hesitant to buy. My main worry is the slide ability, maybe if they came pre treated with fluoro universal temp wax id purchase

have you ever worn a helmet and tripped on shrooms in a Scandinavian forest? no? you wouldn't get it.
