...think rollerblade grinds look gay on skis? Soooo tech and soooo smooth.

pain much? that was smooth and pretty steezy but to me that just does not look super smooth. i think rail tricks should have tons of flow. not to say that did not have flow but roller blade tricks on skis, to me, dont look super good.

to the casual observer he just gracefully fell off that rail

some of the grinds are cool but that one was weird

yeah i thought it was real sick the first time i saw it... i had to watch it like 5 times to figure out what he was actually doing and then i went out and tried it and failed lol

If you can't tell what's going on, this shot is the best look at it. He's sliding on the boot, and at no point does he bounce off his knees.

this is allens 2008 promo and i must say, the roller blade grinds look reallllllllllly sick.

its pretty impressive to watch but not something that, to me, is worth trying. pretzels and switch ups when theyre done well are dank to watch and do as well.

some were sicker than other, some looked kinda forced. but i really like the op vid and this one in terms of originality! i would much rather get all those tricks down than to switch ups or pretzels like twall

so fucking sick!! i always creep on a box trying to do shit like this slowly but then someone sees me and is like what the fuck are you doing haha

I too wonder why more people arent doing fruit boot grinds. There way mare tech and a lot of them look hella sick.

I think that roller grinds are what make skiing officially better than boarding in every way

the trick was janky as hell. and he reverted immediately upon landing.

no one seems to be capable of doing any of those tricks without looks like theyre out of control and about to have a seizure. til someone figures that out, those tricks are straight garbage.

and nothing should be borrowed from rollerblading...ever.

uh no i dont ski to impress anyone

i ski to have fun and if people are impress thats nice for them

and casual observer doent just mean gaper it took me at least 3 views to see what he did

it looked a lot like falling.. but stomped

but obviously you're the shit so ignore what i wrote

Hahahahahaha there's always at least one of you in EVERY post about rollerblading.

Instead of starting this old argument I'm just gonna leave it be. There's too many angry opinionated people on Newschoolers. Bad vibes to you sir

I Snowblade too, actually the only reason I started Skiing was because I needed longer skis for the POW in Whistler, and It was tough doing those grinds on Blades. I gotta give this guy props for making it look so stylish. Sry for those of you who hate, but I luvd it.
