Why was Andy on the old magnum opus’s in the new tc?

I saw him on some 2017 magnum opus’s and I was wondering why he would be on those if he could ski the outlines, the pescados or even the visions. Anyone know why?

Just cuz they are a few years old doesn’t make them an outdated bad ski. Seems like he would be on the Outline tho. Haven’t skied either but the Opus and Outline seem like pretty similar skis

Yeah no 100 percent dude. I absolutely love the graphics on the opus

just was wondering as he could have ridden a lighter ski which could have been a lil more fun for his style of skiing

either way I’m in full support of any tc I can get

Just because someone is sponsored by a certain brand, does not make them automatically get literally every ski pair for free. Obviously Andy has a long connection with Line, so it's possible he could get all skis if he wanted to, but if he only rides pow a few times a year, there isn't that much reason for him to ride new skis every single year.

I kinda have been getting skis as needed. I don't think I asked for pow skis last year so thats why I have the older skis. They are also a damn good ski.
