Im just curious but ive noticed that ns shows alot of love for it and people who live in my town that moved here from there do too, so why is it so great please inform me.

beats me. I live here and it never snows, or never snows much, skiing is atleast 1 hour+ away, and the place i live is filled with old people. but seriously, seattle is the tittles

I love Seattle because its stupidly pretty, and its in a very convenient location for every outdoors activity you could imagine. Heres some shots I've taken wandering around Seattle.
You can go up to the mountains one day, and then bike to the beach the next day for an epic sunset and a bonfire. (Or do both if you're ultra motivated.)

We also have the space needle, and a pretty nice skyline that you can see from across the bay.

You must live in wedgewood. Its old people central. But Seattle had great neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, the ID, the CD, Fremont, Queen Anne, etc.

Why?

Listen to these while you look at the pictures...

Why the fuck would you not love Seattle?

The only thing that sucks about Seattle is the all the hippies and super libs that fucking run around.

Other than that, it is excellent.

That's me! w00t!

Haha.

Seattle is a fucking amazing place. Having the opportunity to attend one of the highest achieving public schools in the state, being located directly in the middle of everything outdoors, and being an all-around "nice" city is amazing.

Going away for college is going to be tough next year. California is nothing like Seattle. As a liberal, chill, outdoorsy, and badass place, I couldn't have asked for a better place to grow up.

Just look at my icon.

I love Seattle.

Bellevue is pretty nice too just 2 miles across Lake Washington.

A lot more stuff I don't feel like typing, but I definitely have a ton of love for Seattle.

seattle is a great town, good people. its every thing u want in a city, its big and small in diferent ways. the only problem is the weather, we have one season here, fall, we ocationaly get the beautiful spring days wich are great, but for the most part i almost never snows and its always overcast. an other reason is how close we are to some amazing mountains.

I dunno man. Sure it's kinda rainy in the winter around the city, the spring and summer in Seattle are ridiculously beautiful.

What the hell? We have two seasons: gray (~late Oct to July 4th) and summer. Summer is downright remarkable; 70s to 80s, sunny, not oppressive like the rest of the country. Bluest skies. Usually nary any haze or smog expect for the few hot days. Pristine. Rest of the year is gray and rainy. Makes for a hell of a snow pack.

I'm confused by all the love for Portland. It wants to be Seattle so bad, but it just can't be.

no love for west seattle?

but seriously, seattle is awesome. one of the few places i can think of where i will get to go skiing one morning, leave at closing, and still have time for a evening wakeboard.

and it is the most beautiful city

I love to take trips down to seattle with the fam and stay in the Mayflower and just shop err day. i love nordstroms (canada doesnt have it) and i like going to the little fair by the space needle and riding the lil train thing there. That being said vancouver pretty much has everything seattle does but 10x better, except for nordstroms :(

My Seattle reasons:
- Open Books- The Annapurna Cafe- Seattle Arts and Lectures- Sounders (yes, Domer, the Sounders. We need a hockey team too)- The Seattle Rep- And the rad people I've met at UW and SU

Not even. Rainier Beach is definitely the most ghetto. The CD is nice if you live there like I do. The gangbangers are actually surprisingly nice if you talk to them.

The reason I love it so much is because it's just a cool place to just wonder around in. Everytimeni go there I've found some new cool thing or met some really cool people. Nothings better than hoping on the ferry with some friends and go to Seattle for the day on a nice summer day.

I've been to many states I can't imagine ever leaving. I feel sorry for the rest of you fucks actually. But don't move here actually it sucks.

It is pretty great. The culture and people are awesome. I lived there for 10 years, and my family still lives there. However, the rain got the best of me, and I had to bail. I just enjoy doing things outside too much, and the sun.

seattle fucking sucks... don't come here..

but seriously, i love it here. best state in the usa if you ask me. skiing wise, we have the snowiest mountain on earth, so many huge ski areas and plenttyy of backcountry. we also have really pretty campsites and hikes, such as rainier national park really good spots for mountain biking, whitewater kayaking and desolate lakes for cliff jumping, paddleboarding, any outdoor activity you can imagine can basically be done here. the city is big and has alot of hidden gems, with sunny beaches and lively markets. and thats just the mainland. the san juans are one of my favorite places in this state. the culture there is so laid back and people are really friendly. there are no cities or towns in the islands, just harbors where people have settled. definately the place to be if you just wanna chill.

WA fuck yeah. /documentary
