Ok so I know this has been done a thousand times before, but not by me. You see I'm actually experienced and you should all listen to me because I skied over 100 days this season. (and last season as well) ALSO I DO BLACK DIAMONDS. So That being said, this thread is serious shit. I am here to tell you the reasons why snowboarding is super inferior to skiing. If it didn't affect skiers, I would say "to each his own" but sadly, snowboarders are retarded and they mess stuff up.
-Snowboarders can't get around in flats. Not "OH THEY DON'T HAVE POLES HUHUH" they can't skate or sidestep either.
-They have to strap in/out everytime they get on the lift. HINT to you snowboarders...your skier friends are getting super pissed that you take so long strapping and unstrapping. You better learn to do it while you're still moving
-They can't do bumps. I hate that moment when I'm skiing with a snowboarding friend and I wanna do bumps. I have to ski with them and watch as they violently twist their body trying to get around the moguls. How does it feel that you guys lose out on a good percentage of the runs just because you picked the inferior sport??
-They scrape all the good snow off. Nothing's worse than watching some idiot snowboarder scrape off all the good pow. Like the old saying goes... "There's two things that ruin good snow....Sun and fucking snowboarding assholes"
-They're always sitting on their butts in the middle of the run...Ok we all know this is true.
-Their shit bumps into your shit on the lift cuz you're always stuck sideways on a snowboard
-They're stuck sideways when they're snowboarding. Who thought this was a good idea?
-When snowboarders catch an edge, they either fall on their face or their butt resulting in violent, embarrassing wipeouts.
-They look like idiots when they're coming through the line. Trust me. I stand in line 35 hours a week and I know how stupid snowboarders look. It's so unnatural and dumb looking, watching them do that skating thing. With skies it's much smoother and natural.
So in conclusion, it's not that snowboarding is lame, or not fun, it's just that it sucks. The only reason for snowboarding is to try and look cool. Admit it, because this is the truth. Why else is it mostly popular with teenagers
