Why must my FKS breaks keep bending?!?!?

Everytime i eject on a jump while landing switch my fucking breaks bend in retarded ways. The first time it happened i could bend them back but after fixing them for the 3rd time yesterday (onthe hill) i was able to easily bend them back into shape. This is all fine and dandy but im worried that all this bending back and fourth is going to eventually lead to my breaks snapping.

Are all fks breaks like this or are mine just gay

mine would get bent really bad all of the time, so that even that if i ejected the brakes wouldnt be below the skis. Bu then one time i cased really hard and went to my side and the arms snapped off clean haha. I just put my fks without brakes some beater skis

mine bend like a mother fucker a lot of times when i land switch. i now got so tired of it that i have them bent at a 45 degree angle at least upwards so it takes a "full" eject for them to make contact with the snow

You messed up landing switch, the binding released (saving you from injury) and the brake dd it's job and it got bent....or more logically, as you have suggested so eloquently, your brakes have sexual orientation that you don't seem to agree with, so they keep protesting by bending intentionally to piss you off... come on I am sure you can figure out why your expensive FKS brakes bend without resorting to homophobic terms....

Sometimes I really wonder....yeah just bend them up so they dont catch when you release in switch and will be less likely to catch when you release normally...yeah that is a great idea that shows concern and respect for other in the park...Great so next time your bindings release on an icy or hardpack surfaces they will take off and skewer some kid dowhill....genius.

Listen if you can nail your landings, (ahem...hack...ahem) you might as well take off your brakes and wear leashes like a snowblader. That way if anyone gets injured it will be you and nobody else...

This is a good policy. Old FKS brakes are a little less burly than the newer bindings. Like someone said before though, it's nice that you can fuck the brakes to shit 100 times instead of watching the whole contraption explode.

even if the breaks snapped, they'd be fairly cheap and easy to replace. I have never heard of that happening, but it doesn't surprise me.

All brakes get ruined if you come out switch at speed. But as mentioned, it's better that they bend, unlike some other bindings where the pedal bit just explodes and gets all mangled.

They arent, and its a bitch to replace them. Instead of a screw like all other bindings, its integrated into the baseplate, takes a lot of screwing with and swearing.

I didn't feel like making a new thread...

How wide are the XXL brakes without bending? I have been told they are more like 125, rather than the 115 stated by Rossi.

My friend bent his FKS brakes 4 times in one day by landing switch, he wasn't falling either. He bent them again today.

But I haven't had any problems with my brakes bending.

lots and lots of swearing

and i asked a local shop how much replacement breaks would be, guy said rossi is charging $200

Well he is a fool. I would buy new bindings for that. Rossi sells the entire base plate assembly with the brakes for $40 a pair. A 2 minute stint with a screwdriver and your done.

haha if thats the case.. im not even gonna bother with the binding.. i might just go with some sth 14 drivers or something
