Why Marijuana Should Stay Illegal!

I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons it is not legal is that it is a bitch to test for in real time.

With alcohol, we have solid, non-invasive, testing mechanism to tell if people are drunk in real time (breathalyzer). I'm pretty sure there isn't a similar system in existence for weed which makes it a sticky subject for legalization. How do we know if people are high when they are driving, or if a cop is high on the job, etc?

Sure we can take a piss test or hair test and deduce that they have been high within the last month (traces of THC can last in the body for almost a month), but what fucking good is that?

I'd say almost to this.

It certainly is a multi-million (or greater) industry that really does create massive revenue...and if it was harnessed by the government, it would be highly lucrative.

However...do you seriously want everyone to be able to access the stuff with little to no regulation? Someone's gonna screw up royal, and the whole thing will be up in smoke...pun intended.

if you read my post im pretty sure i said exactly that.
and if you ask me its a damn good point. i was trying to think of a good word for a current road side marijuana test, and real time works.
thanks ryno the thesaurus.

yeah i know...but people on here hate reading anything longer then 100 words so i tried to sum it up for them :P

UPDATE: so i had the debate today and the kid i was going against come in super high and sounded like an idiot. i made some ok points and he had nothing to say. moral of the story is dont smoke weed cause it makes you an idiot.

Paper companies wont like it.

U.S. would rather spend billions a year to keep it illegal rather than legalize it and put an age on it and tax it they could make bank.

And more jobs would be created for it.

Whats your beef wit weed man? wtf

On the other hand, legalizing marijuana would create just as many jobs. There would need to be people to grow, harvest, package, distribute, and sell it.
