Your arguing that woman don't go bigger because they don't need to, because they can already be top dog with 5's and 7's. With that logic, what incentive are you suggesting woman will be provided with given they have their own big air? Using that criteria, big air would just be a sketchy'er, larger extension of the slope jumps where girls didn't feel like they need to go bigger because they can win with a 7.
I think you're missing the point. Progression isn't just about being number one in the comp scene, progression is about proving to yourself that you can change the game by adding another rotation, finding a new axis for a trick, bringing new tricks to the backcountry etc. The dub 7 coming into the game in the past couple years really blew people's mind, because it was progressive and innovative not because it scores higher then trip 14's in a comp.
I agree with you in regards to girls comfort zones. The fact of the matter is, girls just need to sack up. Start trying bigger rotations, dubs, etc. into air bags and on the tramps, physical limitations aren't the issue.
