Why isn't Salomon cool anymore?

Why isn't salomon like it was a few years ago? Is it because many Salomon pro skiers switched to another company? I remember when Salomon Freeski Tv dropped the sickest edits and everyone used to have salomon skis. And also, back a few years ago, Salomon used to make over 4 different park skis, now they onlymake 2 different ones. Why?
 
They just aren't cool to kids who spend all their money on Hoodies instead of real ski equipment. Salomon is targeting people who actually buy shit.
 
they are just as cool. your just starting to follow the internet bandwagon of buying from underground companies because you think your too gangster for salomon... which is probably hurting compainies like salomon, which is probably why theyre making less park skis.. less profitable area=less made
 
There skis are of shit quality I told a kid that a few season and he told me they are too bobby brown only went through three pair last year
 
Most of the skiers on NS aren't necessarily Salomon's target demographic, so why spend all of its resources trying to please us?

I think they got greedy with their athletes and weren't treating their park athletes the same as their big mountain athletes (less trips, less skis, less money) and yeah they're park skis degraded
 
I never said that Salomon is shit or that I'm too gangster for them. I said they have changed alot during past few years and why?
 
I've been boycotting their products since 2003 when they refused a warranty issue with my 4 day old skis.

SInce then I've bought 6 pairs of brand new skis from various other companies.

2 sets of boots

4 pairs of bindings

2 sets of Poles

None of it Salomon.

They've just done a shit job caring for their athletes and are putting more of their focus into the big mountain / touring side of things rather than into park

 
They did seem to drop a lot of their big-name park athletes, Sammy C, Dane Tudor, henrik (outerwear) and is nick martini still on the team? With his injury and all?
 
henrik no longer rides for them on outerwear thr was a post on Instagram a while back about his new armada pro suit
 
The quality of the park skis has been horrible the last couple years, top sheets have been shitty, edges busting easily. Just not on the same level as they used to be.
 
Salomon is one of the hottest snowboard brands right now. No joke. Snowboarders are all about it. And I'm pretty sure most of them don't realize that Salomon snowboards is the same as Salomon skis. It's quite amusing.
 
They still make some of the best bindings and probably the best range of boots in the world. What people seem to forget is the bigger picture. Salomon is part of amer and who do amer also own, atomic. I have seen so many threads here recently of people recommending punx and trust me there will be even more for the infamous next year. So think about it, salomon got a reputation of going big mtn just as atomics park stuff took off big time. Umm I wonder if maybe that was planned all along.
