This is a rant. I need to write this somewhere. I have had the worst week i can remember and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Lets start off by listing a few of my belongings that have broken in the past week
1) XBOX2) Phone (twice)3) Laptop4) Printer5) Sunglasses6) Bindings7) my car (twice)8) My dads truck
My car has been having brake problems for a while but i was at college so i wasn't too worried about it. I came home to my brake caliper frozen on because someone in my family left the parking brake on. FUCK! so after spending a few days working on the car i finally got the wheel to turn. During those few days i borrowed my dads truck and was driving around burlington and decided to drive down the boat launch. Seemed like a good idea at the time. So i made it about a foot into the water and decided i would reverse out. I put the truck in reverse and what do you know, i drop the driveshaft right out. After riding in a flatbed next to a guy who looked like sloth from the goonies for a half hour i finally get home.
So earlier today i was driving my car (with the fucked up brakes) to a dentist appointment and noticed it was a little sketchy. I didn't think anything of it just because of the brake problems it already had. so im driving down the road and what do you know, my tire falls off while im going 50 mph and goes screaming out in front of me narrowly missing someone walking on the sidewalk's face by about 6 inches. FUCK ME SIDEWAYS! i have to pay another $100 for a flatbed and sit there while people point and laugh at the asshole with 3 wheels for about a half an hour.
So if this wasn't bad enough i was planning on flying down to miami for the Ultra concert. Nas, Damien Marley, Deadmau5. but now instead i have to pay for about $2000 in repairs on this FUCKING BULLSHIT!
