Why is skiing overall better than surfing?

This, surfing is a pain in the ass to learn because you have to paddle, then when you get to the line up, everyone wants to go at the same time. If I lived somewhere with a quiet lineup and consistent swell it'd be fun to learn, otherwise not going to bother.

How can you even compare.... dude, totally different. Getting barrel is amazing, getting face shots is also something amazing but totally different. PNW is great because you can do both in one day if you wanted to. They're totally different, surfings more mellow and relaxed, skiings more aggressive/creative. Whatever floats your boat, but both float mine lol

i used to surf alot but my board broke and i havent had the money to buy a new one buttt... surfing can be done throughout the entire year and is really chill. While i love skiing it is also way more expensive but the creativity that you can have is crazy
