Hi,

Since i'm going to ski next week, and will try for the first time my helmet cam on the slopes ...

I was wondering why the footage of some some helmet cams is really bumpy

And some are just awesomeness

Ok, the quality of the cam itself probably isnt the same!

But is it the type of snow? hard/prepped pistes vs. soft smooth powder ?

Or does the awesome ones have some sort stabilisation?

Hope some one can help me here :)

thx

thats one of the best big mountain helmet cam segments ever, that you chose...
i think it has to do with:1) mounting; where is the cam mounted and how is it mounted?2) image stabilisation; you have incredible difference in performance with or without it; you have cams that have great image stabilisation and you have cams that have it but don't actually do shit for conditions like this...

also the lens will make a big difference: wide angle lenses will apear much more stable....
