Um, because there is a massive amount of information that must be moved everytime you load a page.
Tryg etting a good connection. I've got cable and it's fast enough for me.

i think you just proved his point skierx,
why is it that at peak times it is actually faster than the dead times. the same info is being loaded but why does it take 3 times as long. i periodically get this problem. it may be that harvey is updating the site or some other function is going on at the server.
instead of jumping to conclusions by saying get a faster connection(assuming he has a slow one) why not use a little more tact and politely ask what type of connection he has, then maybe you can help.
