it's worth noting that IIRC, yeah, gagnier did hit it on his park skis..but that's irrelevant to this question

chad's gap is named after chad zurinskas, a super badass alta dude who first decided on and guinea pigged the gap. he came up short a few times, and candide thovex asked if he could hit it. he landed it, and then later (not sure when), chad also cleared it at least once
