Why is freeskiing being defined so much?

If i hear another "thats not what skiing is about....skiing is about _____" piece of bullshit i swear.

WHO THA FUCK CARES.

I really don't give a shit. Who cares if people are taking skiing off the deep end? I ride for me, not for a bunch of gapers who think Nick Geopper is sexier than Henrik. Henni is a beautiful man

We may need to define freeskiing because it has evolved so much in recent years.Yesterday skiers were doing twister spread eagles, cossacks and backscratchers.

Those were the dark days, the non-creative days when going on a board ruled the

mountain.

In 2014, with the evolution of the so called new-school skiing and the acceptance of

the freeskiing disciplines into the Olympics, we have entered a completely new era.

Today skiing is about the switch and nothing but the switch.

No other definition necessary.

WARNING: The switch can be a dangerous stunt. Practice in water/foam pit or on trampoline first!

I feel like since its new to the olympics (and i hate even saying the word olympics), the media feel the need to "define" freeskiing to non skiers while us skiers dont give a fukk

It's because the prophecy has been fulfilled. Slopestyle and halfpipe skiing succeeded in the Olympics. Everyone, go home. The sport, as predicted, is ruined forever.
