For those who dont live in the west, In-n-out burger is a chain burger joint.

but anyway heres why it's the best buisness model out there.

First off, Limited menu allows for perfection of the items on it. (disregarding secret menu items)

Also its family owned.

No stock, no franchises.

All of their locations(in vegas) Are located near major tourist attractions, and the resturaunt alone is a tourist attraction as well.

Here's the menu: (it shows up right away in google)

so many people searched it google put it in the results

Simple right?

People who work there make 15$ an hour, get 401k, and health benifits.

Also i would like to point something out about the soda area.

7-up drinks: 7-up, dr pepper

Coke drinks: coke, diet coke, lemonade

pepsi drinks: Iced tea(brisk).

See? 3 Companies on one fountain, where else do you see that?

I think that in and out approached all the companies and offered to carry their drinks.

anyway, In-n out burger corperation has 290 locations in the west coast.

and last year they raked in 640 million dollars just last year.

I just wanted to make a sort of reportish thread for two reasons, To spread a message, and get some practice in for honors english.

heres a picture of a bantam silkie chicken;

looks like a fast food chain i'd actually be happy eating from. shame there's nothing comparable in the uk. everything's super cheap and shit or super pricey where i am

You don't make $15 an hour and 401k is only for managers and up who work full time...but it is a good company to work for. I would get a free burger every time I worked and can claim a solid 500+ burgers consumed lol.

They treat their employees really well there, unlike most fast food joints. They opened one up like 2 minutes from my house a few years ago. Its the greatest thing to ever happen here

I've only been to In-n-Out once in Reno but it was damn good! I wish they'd come to Montana.

I'm from Reno, and I'm currently in Bozeman. The withdrawals are killing me.

I'm from California. I live between inNouts. I have gone there a billion times...

...but Oregon seriously has In-N-Out beat. Unless you like drive thrus.

I give you, Little Big Burger.

being walking distance from a little big burger i can confirm how great it is. extremely simple and beyond delicious, i mean nothing beats little big burger fries. this company also owns a fried chicken restaurant and a donut place.

Pretty sure that is a PNW or an Idaho/Utah exclusive thing. I hadn't a clue what it was until I moved to Boise and it has helped immensely getting over the In N Out spread withdrawals.

It's just a western thing. Pretty sure Goodburger invented it.

They have a veggie burger and fry sauce.

I'm sold.

It really is great. The food, the service, the simplicity. Its a novelty for me, living in Montana, but I try to go to one if I am ever in a city that has one. I think with the $15/hour you get much more polite employees which really leads to a better overall business. I've never had any complaints with the place.

better watch out tho, i've heard its one of those....."christian companies"!!

inb4 boycott chick-fil-a and in-n-out!

Considering that Chick-Fil-A has given a bunch of money to anti-LGBT political organizations, and the worst thing that In-N-Out has done is print an inconspiculous 8 font bible verse on the bottom of their french fry boats... It's pretty easy to know who to boycott and who to shrug off in this circumstance.

Besides... a fucking shitload of companies are owned by folks with strong Christian beliefs. The difference is that Chick-Fil-A waves it around like they want everyone to see how big their dick is...

Actually. The only reason it exploded in chick fil A's face is because the media wanted it to.

The owner never waved it around publicly or anything. He was in an interview, and the reporter asked his views on it, he replied simply and shortly, and if that's what you consider waving around, then sure, I guess he did.

This is called the "not so secret menu" because it is in fact not the secret menu. No mention of "animal style, protein style, mustard fried etc." Rookie.

The reason Boston blocked them from their municipality is because of Dan Cathy's public statements about traditional families that backed up the previous media reports. If Chick was a franchised company, this wouldn't be as much of an issue, but due to the fact that they are all completely owned by the top-level, the reflections all stop at Cathy.

I have heard that the company is trying to back off on the political policy change shit, but I have no idea either way. For me, however... I don't care what religion you adhere to. It's 2014. There's no tolerance for that assbackwards shit anymore, in my book.

Free speech it up all you want - but expect a retort to that speech if it's supporting anyone not having basic rights.

The reason why they have such a sucessful business model really comes to the obvious. They sell really high quality "fast" food that people love. The quality is always consistent for the most part and the prices are very fair.

Definitely doesn't hurt that they are all private owned and family run...don't have to listen to shareholders request or have to potentially deal with activist investors or something like that.

I'm from Maine and have only been to In N Out a handful of times (3 times at the one in L.A. near LAX and 1 time at the one in Lancaster on the way back from Mammoth and In n Out is SEX. If they existed on the East Coast I'd go everyday its 10x better than McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys etc. at VERY similar price points. That's where I think the true genius is. In N Out compared to Mcdonalds is VERY similar price points versus Chipotle compared to Taco Bell. You feel what I'm trying to say?

Lol at the above post ssying itsVERY comparible in price to mcdicks. Definitely not at all but its a good price for good food. Im not saying its expensive or not worth it but it isnt VERY comaparible in price.

its way different, inner has drive thru and is significantly less expenisve/ takes less time, 5 guys has bigger burgers with more options to put on them and in both cases the fries are very hype

In both cases the fries are very good, though...

Still not Little Big Burger's truffle fries though. The hype there is ultra deserved.
