My cousin and i were just grocery shopping and we just noticed our shopping car had cup holders on it. There is no coffee bar in the grocery store so we figured beer would go great in it. Why the hell isnt there a grocery store with a built in bar? How sick would it be to get trashed while pushing a shopping cart around and getting groceries?? Stores would make more money to because they would be selling more beer and liquor plus drunks are more likely to buy more food. If I had the money to invest I would start a grocery store where you could drink and shop.

i like it, i think there would be lots of fights and probably lots of stuff would get stolen and other such mayhem would occur
 
Dude, I would love that, but what's stopping us from just getting some booze from the booze section and drinking it while we shop and then paying for it at the check out?
 
It would be cooler if there were a few bars around the store and everyone was casually drinking, especially all the milfs.
 
My guess is you live with your parents and they buy all your shit. And you've probably never consumed alcohol.
 
Haha I just noticed that today when I was at this huge international foods store. I'm not so sure the bar idea would work out but maybe just nice kiosks with wine/beer tastings or something.
 
Excuse me, but i work at a grocery store. and from my experience dealing with drunks can be either the funniest thing and the most fucking annoying thing ever. but more on the annoying side of the spectrum, so i vote no. sorray

 
there would need to be guard rails around all the shelves or else stuff would be getting crashed into constantly haha
 
That'd be sick and probably make the shop more fun. But the downside would be drunk driving, or having to kill time or whatever to sober up and looking at the bill when you sober up and realize the stupid shit you bought.

not true. my brother introduced me to what he calls "bargain shopping". you look through the store catalog and find items with prices that arent the same as listed in the catalog. i dont know about the laws anywhere else but over here if somethings price is listed wrong then you get it for free, unless you have more than one item. then you get one of them for free and all the others at the lower price. the cashier usually says ok ill charge you 2.50 instead of 2.59, but you have to tell them that they have to give it to you for free.
 
cause then you'd get home, open your bags, and realize that have a ton of shitty food that you bought while hungry and very drunk.
 
if you're like me, then when you go to a bar, you just want to sit there and drink. if this were to happen, you would go to the bar, sit down, have a couple drinks, but then you would be like, "shit, now i have to get off my ass and go grocery shopping, this blows!". who would want to grocery shop after drinking at a bar. it would be such a buzz kill.
 
Thats why there would "kiosks" or beer carts around the store. One cart could have a keg or two and a hot chick pushing it around. They could also stock some popular liquors on these carts.
 
word. that might work. you just have to make sure there aren't any places available to sit down at. would there be free samples at said kiosks?
 
Definitely no places to sit... think of the soup stands at the stores. There would be free samples but in moderation.
 
i think that we all should buy some land in antartica, I mean the value of it can only go up,right? With global warming someone will need to buy and it will become a country, We should make the first move and legalize cannabis and have no drinking age.
 
In PA, grocery stores can't even sell alcohol, let alone allow you to drink it while you're shopping.
 
yes definatly that would be sick.. it would be just like when the country clubbers go golfing and shit how they have hot girls drive a beer cart around with beer and multiple popular liquors for mixed drinks... i would invest in that grocery store
