why dont the magazines have summer issues

why doestn FREEZE and FREESKIER have like at least one like 'summer update issue' or something like that. Even though there's a lot of places without snow, there are still a lot of places with snow. I think that they should have a summer camp issue or something in the middle of the summer, or atleast one more issue after their spring ones.

yea true. but they can update us from all the camps and stuff. that would be cool. oh well theres always BMX mags and Strength Sk8 board mags

they plan each issue a year before it comes out. if an undate on summer camp issue came out it would be about last years summer camps

They plan them early but they don't put them together til like 2-3 months before they hit the stands. That's how april issues have coverage of comps in feb.

But they could just keep on doing the issues exactly like a winter one. I mean I wouldnt care if it was summer, I'm still gonna be stoked on skiing.

its still a good idea though, they should at least do something little and maybe just send it to subscriebrs or something

 
There is no money to do summer issues. No one is buying equipment during the spring and summer so companies have no need to advertise. Since advertising is where mags make their money (not subscriptions) they cant put out the mags.

True but It would be nice to read about skiing year around cause its the best thing that ever happened to skiing. It would be sick if freeze or freeskier made a june issue or somethin
