Why don't I like park skiing anymore?

Try to set simple goals for yourself. Think of some easy or low-risk tricks that you've never done before and that will be fun to learn. Give yourself props for learning anything new, even if its not a "big" trick. Try to ski with others who are supportive, if you can. Listen to upbeat music that gets you in a good mood.

start doing nose butters, skiing is not about more spins or octo grabs its about doing what feels good and upping your style. Don't feel pressured to follow big comp jocks and do sw dub bio 1620s, do a sick 360 with a grab, that's way cooler. stay humble

Take some time off from the park. Go ski some bumps, ski some trees, hang out in the pub, tell everyone you are the best skier on the mountain. I honestly took 4 seasons off in a row, I wasnt hurt or anything, just wasnt in the right mind to ski. I came back to it and fell in love again. Taking some time off is not a bad thing.

No lies here, I stopped skiing for a few years after an injury and moved back east. I just didn’t have the desire to ride for atleast 5 years even though I was still working in a ski shop. 2020 came around and I decided it was time for a change moved back out west and my love for skiing is probably stronger than it was 10 years ago when I first moved to slc fresh out of highschool.

Serious question, do you happen to watch ski content on any social media other than YouTube/here?

Definitely not, other than NS and YouTube I have a strong dislike of pretty much any social media, particularly Instagram and tiktok, and I don't use it at all, (unless you count here.)

put on some good music and just work on your skiing ability. find your steeze everyone has their own style and simply just focusing on flowing through the park instead just hucking yourself.

Concentrate on small, dumb stuff, that normally is overlooked to learn “sick tricks”

for example ….

skiing mellow groomers switch, but learn it looking over both shoulders. Not just one way.

find a mellow roller, Learn to pop from sw to reg both ways.

learn both way 180s on side hits.

and ski the whole mountain, bumps, trees, etc.
