Why does smoking feel awful now?

When I first got into weed I loved it, just like anyone else. It was such a great experience to be high, just made everything so much better.

The last couple times I smoked, however, were terrible experiences. I was just scared and nervous for hours and the whole time I wanted to be sober.

Has this happened to anyone else? How do you stop this from happening?

Were you smoking a different type of weed. I know indica vs sativa can have that effect on people. Can't remember which one is more mind high but I've heard that can make you really paranoid
 
maybe you should

1 take a break

2 go somewhere outside and enjoy nature while doing it. grab a bag of whatever because you'll eat anything, a lawnchair and sit out and look at somthing and play some music. chillest experience ever

Weed gives me anxiety a lot of the time(which is why I barely smoke anymore). I've found that if I have like 2-3 drinks before I smoke it helps for me to not freak out. Being in a good state of mind before you smoke helps too and if I'm stressed out Im more likely to have a bad high.
 
You should define herb as something that enhances who YOU are. If while smoking you simply wait around until the "fucks you up" or something, then you're defeating the purpose of pot in my opinion.

Let weed take the negativity and stress out of you life, dont let it bring it all into you life. If you smoke herbal on purpose then you might as well enjoy it!

The way I look at it is that weed is like a hammer. A hemmer is a tool that can be used to build something amazing, or it could be used to break something and destroy it .Use weed as a tool to build, not a tool to destroy. That's the healing of a nation.
 
Now that it's legal, you can't sit around your room and talk to your friends about how cool it would be to legalize pot. I know that feel bro

exactly I've heard that paranoia comes from smoking too much. Also, people get paranoid because they were told their whole childhood it is bad. Tell yourself it is not bad actually and you're good. Remember it is illegal for greedy and horrible reasons - not because it is bad.
 
Same here man...used to smoke a pretty good amount over time started getting less pleasant, paranoid, etc and eventually just started to happen smoking like 1 hit. So I stopped like 2 years back and don't miss it the slightest bit. All about cocain now lolol
 
It's called getting too high. When you develop a higher tolerance you'll just green out instead of getting too high which can actually be a bummer, since sometimes I enjoy riding the line between having fun and wanting to go to the hospital

Exactly. Unless it's creeper, and you feel yourself getting spacey off a hit, take one more put the bowl down and smoke the rest on your decline. Space that shit out.
 
The only time I enjoy smoking is when I'm with a good friend and we can just chill, eat, and play skyrim. Aside from that... I find being high in almost any other situation uncomfortable.

This is a great example of how weed affects people differently. If I'm stressed smoking chiiiills me out no doubt. I really think it's about building a tolerance. When you first start smoking you can get edgy and paranoid but the more you do it the less you care and the more you are focused on enjoying your high.
 
just don't smoke large amounts. i love the ganj in smaller doses but the whole getting ripped thing doesn't do it for me. can't function, think, and have anxiety. weed is different for everyone though
 
yeah it is only a anti-anxiety medication if you're a daily smoker and you want to get high. Smoking will cure the anxiety of wanting to smoke. It will cause all types of other anxious problems. Curing anxiety is definitely just to get it medically legal - because who doesn't get anxious every once in a while?
