Solid gear... but owner is a jackass trusty who has no respect for natural areas... examples; swimming/walking out on the hanging lake log, taking a shit in a lake in maroon bells I’m pretty sure, sledding up into a protected area in the Rockies(mt. Elbert in Colorado) dude is just an asshole I’m general, when people were calling him out for doing all this he would basically make a joke out of them on his IG page.
idk but as skiers I feel we have a duty to do what we can to keep natural areas clean, and practice Leave no Trace. And to disrespect that and those who care stupid is just kinda fucked, especially for an industry leader
oh and also then he comes out with a video about how he faked all the shitty bullshit he did by editing himself out of the photos, and then back in basically making a mockery of the whole deal (technically tampering with evidence because he has cases against him and the photos were being used as evidence)

Mostly the incident with David Lesh shitting in a protected lake. Before that I don't really get it, he seems like a douche but none of the other stuff he did was really that crazy imo. Idk if it's just my hill but it seems like Virtika has only lost its popularity on Newschoolers. Especially this year I've been seeing it more than literally any other brand for some reason
