Why does every epic thread get shut down?

We have an egomaniac on our hands. And what exactly constitutes an "epic thread?"
 
that frenchy thread just reminded me, but there are others i just can't think about them right now.
 
The only epic thread I can think of that got shut down is the "person above me" thread. Granted, It was like 8 years ago.
 
in all seriousness i know what you mean. i think some of them may get moved to the donators forum or whatever but i wouldnt know
 
why? taking it down't wouldn't prove his point since this thread is nowhere near epic ...
 
Hahaha no but seriously, i posted that OP was true and that the 6969 thread got deleted last week after 15 or so pages, and my omg9k thread yesterday got deleted, but its because it was a post count thread and that's a no-no. The n i proceeded to post my "work of art"

That is why my comment got deleted.^... Not a good reason imo.
 
only one i can think of was "how many posts can we get before a green name gets on".. and that had to go
