Why do you play Call of Duty?

Because I like to piss off the children and the wannabe military bros.

i hit 50k kills and quit. played on the pc and i just cut the cd up and chucked it. fuck that shit. i pretty much mastered it and it got too boring. that, and i felt like a huge nerd playing with mouthy little kids some 10 years younger than me. like, i'd actually find myself arguing logic with these random dorks only to find myself thinking 'what the fuck am i doing with my life?' i usually have those kind of epiphanies when i start to nerd out too hard and do away with it for good.

is my memory foggy or wasnt it you who literally posted in every single COD thread in the fall hating on it and calling people nerds?

haha i only call out the try hards who play to win on easy mode as if it fuckin matters.

and getting 50k kills only took me 12 days playing time, which aint that much considering i had the game for 5 months..

people had the game on the pedestal like it was the biggest thing happening in their lives and half the NSG was black ops threads. of course im going to jump in and heckle the nerds for nerding it up so hard. it's one thing to play a game and have fun. it's another to discuss it 24/7, hype it, live and breathe it, and be so addicted to it in a competitive rage that it takes over your life.. and then be proud of that. fuck yeah, that's heckling fuel right there.

"ill bet you one million..... pretzels"

"will that be pounds or euros"

"do you know what a pretzel is?"

fuckin classic

no what you do is run pistol only and when you come first and own everyone you chirp the hell out of them. shit, even when i come last with like 1 kill i'll be like YEAH BUT THAT ONE KILL WAS NICER THAN ANY OF YOURS etc etc.

by far the funnest thing to do. Its always great when you show all those bitches whats up with a couple of well placed m9 shots. I played with my right thumb in a splint a while back and it was the same sort of thing.

I played cod for 3 months straight and got prestige 5 and i look at my self and think what the fuck. this game is too easy that is when i switched to bbc2 larger maps, recoil has dramatic affect, harder, vehicles, more people.

Dude same here. Eventually you plateau, and pretty much devastate all of the time, and it's hardly a challenge. Once the challenge is gone, like anything, it gets suuuper repetitive, and loses its fun. Apparently I have ADD and the concept behind playing so much COD or video games hours on end is that you don't have to think. It's just one, particular, focused activity that blocks out everything else and all the other thoughts going on in my brain that runs a million miles an hour.

because it's action packed but relaxing; dynamic yet static; complex yet simple; involved but totally inconsequential. it is a paradox, wrapped in an enigma. plus i blaze a lot..

i finished up with a lifetime K:D of 1.41, which i'd say is pretty fucking good considering a) i fuck around a lot and do horribly trying to tomahawk people, snipe, or pistol, b) i play objectives and dont really give a shit about dying, and c) i prestiged all 15 times and when youre in the earlier levels your ratio sucks because you have no guns or pro perks. so yeah i found myself consistently going like 16-3 in snd games, 80-15 in domination and demo, with plants, diffuses, etc, so i completely lost interest. when you get to the point where every game youre getting gunner / dogs, it's like 'k i beat this game..'.
wagers were pretty fun too. i think overall in those my record was 125-70 in the money vs out. oic is fast quick action, and all that practice with pistols made me a pro at that shit.
but yeah, useless knowledge about my gaming career is useless. ahaa. just feel like i went out with a bang and did everything there was to do, really. fun shit for a while, then life goes on..

Bitch, I am a tomahawk CHAMPION. all i do is run around with the mac11 on rapid fire, scavenger, sleight of hand, and marathon.
I have gotten a 235 foot tomahawk head shot. Yes, I keep track of my best throwing knives/tomahawks. SHIT IS LIFE.

yeah ive had a few beauties in my day. when im hawking i usually just set myself up SAS style and go ballistic runner with lightweight / marathon and warlord pro (for the extra tomahawk). sometimes i'd do scavenger so you can keep replenishing hawks / blades without needing to look around for them and stoping to pick them up, but its hard to dump the movement speed from lightweight. plus, when youre good, your hawks are sticking out of your opponent so theyre easy to retrieve
