Why do Volkswagons smell like Crayons?

because those of us who haven't smelled a crayon before, or haven't smelled one in the last 14 years, still need to have that smell.

That's really weird, my friend's jetta reeks of crayons. She said the guy who sold it to her left a box of crayons in there on a hot summer day and they all melted. But this is a widespread phenomenon?
 
weird, my friend said that her other friend's beetle smelled like crayons.. i didnt believe her

if these are mk3's, its probably cause your roof or door water drains are clogged causing water to backup into the interior, causing shit to grow in your carpet, and basically making for an unpleasantly odorous whip
 
apparently its from some spray on wax thats on VW frames made a few years ago, that melts when it gets hot. thats what i heard, but its prolly on google
 
yeah some bitch i know always tells me by jetta smells like crayons, its fucking weird and i dont think it smells like crayons but i have had a few people tell me my jetta smells lke crayons
 
i have a friend that has gone through 3 saabs and theyve all smelled like crayons. its so weird.
 
yup.. ive got a mk3 jetta that has an ever so slight crayon smell......It could have something to do with the VW/Crayola colaboration code named the "harlequin golf"
