Why do people gotta steal others stuff?

So today i was at my mountain with fellow NS'er evanmyer and we set our backpacks down in this little lobby area. I had my helmet that i got all my stickers on and my nike dunks, evan had his jiberish level 1 hoodie and his oakleys in there. When we got back from a really good day of skiing they were both gone. I just dont get why people gotta go take other peoples shit that they spend there hard earned money on. Sorry for the rant im just pissed
 
That really sucks, but you should know better than to leave such nice shit laying in a lobby for an entire day. I dont even leave my stuff ungaurded for a bathroom trip.
 
wow man... you seem super calm for losing some super expensive shit... that really really sucks too, is it a local mountain? cuz then i would say hunt down the bastard and kill him
 
Yea i guess, not really much i can do so im just being chill right now. Im just happy i got in a sick day of skiing with my bros and no one got hurt
 
i like your attitude, no sense getting all pissed off when in reality there's a very small chance of you getting your packs backsorry about that bro, people piss me off sometimes
 
Well it was a school ski trip and everybody puts there stuff in the lobby and there have been no problems before with anybody stealing anything until today. Others peoples shit was taken too I am so pissed that my hoody was stolen because I had paid for it completely on my own and it was brand new. I am just glad that none of my ski stuff was taken. but if I do see someone wearing my hoody they will not see the light of day ever again
 
That sucks dude, last month i tought someone took my jacket from in the pub, i was gettin super pissed because i knew i left it there and since it wasnt there, i was fairly sure someone took it....

so the next day i go report this to the manager and luckily he takes me to the pub to check again, damn i was so happy, it turned out that the bartender saw my jacket unattended in a corner and he took it and hung it away in the kitchen, damn i was so happy to get it back ....
 
My friend got his skis stolen last year when I was with him, he set them outside on the rack and we went in to get something to eat and when we came back out they were gone
 
that sucks, but opportunity is what makes a thief.

Just leave a backpack in the same place makin sure people notice the nice things in it, then hide behind a corner and wait till someone tries to steal it. If someone does, then beat the shit out of him/her.
 
ya dude i have 0 tolerance for stealing.
my friend stole a snowboard at the pass one time.we left him there.
 
People get skis and boards stolen all the time here. It really pisses me off that there are people like that.

They were all raised wrong. should have been beaten more...
 
If you see your helmet do not hesitate to remove it from the thiefs head and beat their bare skull with a nice pair of poles(cheap ones will break, don't worry it will be worth it).
 
i always put my gear next to an expensive looking pair of skis. or a nice looking burton board. no one will touch TMs, when there are some minty chronics or a burton custom sitting right next to it.
