Why do people drive dodge chargers?

what the fuck are you doing with your life if you drive one of these piece of shit machines?

Dodge dealer will set you up in an 84 (eighty four months or 7 years) loan with less than stellar credit scores.

I always give them room on the freeway.

They go fast. They sound good. Many people think they look cool.

Having driven several (not owned), I can tell you that it's like driving a rectangular box. The visibility is absolutely horrible. I would never purchase one.

Cause they want that slick hemi v8 ya know?

Only one worth getting is a hellcat, still would never spend a penny on an American 4 door sports car.

Lol I detail cars for work, black sucks but white is sometimes worse for showing dirt.

For the looks. I bought one back in 2010, put the 22" rims, polarized windshield, big stereo system and rolled thinking I was cool. HAHAHA, that lasted for about 8 months. Realized I wasnt cool and it didnt fit me, sold it and bought me an Escalade, another fucking mistake but thats another story.lol

Not gonna lie, I got to drive brand new loaded special edition escalades that are like $95k for work at one of the resorts and those things are like spaceships lol. Very expensive things to have to drive in the snow without snowtires however

I do agree, super comfortable and spacious for many people. Mine had the 6.0L and it drank the fuel like some of us drink beer....... a lot! I didnt need all the bells and whistles, nor do I have a large family to tote around so I downsized.

My buddy had one back in highschool....I kinda liked it. Fast, spacious, and pretty decent awd. Big ol engine was fun.

I would never buy one....mostly because I don't care about cars all too much, but also I would rather have something more fuel efficient if I was going sedan size.

I dont get how they get around, I do work for prop managers in the colony, deer Crest etc and idk how those southern cali dads get around without crashing in their new spotless suburbans on those roads. Lotta weight but if you slide downhill in one you're fucked.

Honestly, fast cars would be fun but are so impractical. There a ticket waiting to happen, the mileage is horrible and paying up to 100k Its all alot for laying patch here and there.

It’s meant to be a continuation of the boat-y classic car, but with safety features so you don’t die immediately in an accident above 25mph. Hence the boxiness. Tbh I’d probably rather die in style.

Your thinking strictly sport/supercars, so many practical cars that are almost or as fast as a lot of sports coupes, sti hatchback, Mercedes e55 amg, v60 polestar etc. Its also not like you cant get a ticket in a beater shitbox civic, just the speed you're going might be slower than others.

Good idea lol, My dad wanted to get a new loaded Yukon for a while (Essentially the same thing minus a few features) and I did my best to not convince him, haha. Like his Silverado is a lot more practical for things like skiing or going to run our dogs over a yukon, not to mention id hate to drop that much on an SUV thats gonna get the shit kicked out of it by dogs and people/gear/etc. And the gas, oh my fucking god the gas use. It was like $80 everytime to top these fucking things off at work. Gotta love super rich HOAs though, They throw money at the dumbest shit.

Same here, dude. We actually had to drive owners' cars to go grab them at the Airport in SLC or out in Heber in their own piece of shit unkept cars, All these guys drove 15+ year old SUVs with failing powersteering, no snow tires, worn out brakes, unaligned steering wheels, etc. Its fucked up but their cars rarely got serviced. It still blows my mind they made us do that, What an insurance and legal nightmare that would create if you crashed or got crashed into. I honestly preferred to drive the new Audis/Benzes some of the homeowners had because they were at least reasonable and didnt want us coming to pick them up in giant SUVs without snowtires.

Whats wild to me is all those shuttle services HOAs like Deer Crest, Empire, The Colony, etc. provide and how fucking ghetto those drivers and vans are. None of those vans are equipped for the snow either.

Yeah most of our clients have escalades, suburbans etc. that are at most 8 years old, a few are old and shitty but luckily clean as hell inside, but yeah often the tires are bald and probably dont have the best maintenance. I saw some of those empire pass sprinters fucking ripping recently, hope the drivers can handle them in the winter if they slide...

This is dope. Its just that these HOAs/Resort companies have these vans but they just dont maintain them properly because honestly they're super cheap and dont want to spend any money, like most HOAs

Why do ppl wear suits and fancy shoes to work, why do people drive fancy cars? Poor ppl act rich and rich ppl act poor. I don’t wear the most expensive clothes I used to lease a 2015 Toyota RAV4 but my lease ran out so I don’t even drive. I don’t drive a bmw to try to act like I’m rich or have money. But guess what, I do wear something on my right ring finger that’s worth 10 BMWs. It’s a $1500 umich class ring. That ring shows that I went to one of the best university in the world, and spent 250k on my education. So anyone driving fancy cars and wearing expensive clothes and try to act classy and pretentious can go fuck them selves and they r all complete losers.

My umich gold class ring says it all. Guess what u can’t buy a degree from the greatest university in the world, u earn it and put out 240 on tuition, and it is one of the most difficult schools to get accepted into. So my class ring speaks for itself.

Also Working is for those to have to. All I do is volunteer locally and abroad.

Yeah, but NO ONE gives a fuck about your little undergrad except you. You're are the one over there looking down on people because you went to school. Sounds more like you're just a bum with your leased rav4.

not a clue, but shipping a vehicle back from germany they didnt want any foreign plants/rats under the hood or in your truck beds. had to be clean af

I came here to say after this thread I’ve noticed almost as many undercover Chargers as civilian Chargers so fuck them, but holy shit. You spent 250k on school that had better include Med school but the way you write doesn’t seem to indicate so. One of the most difficult schools to get in to? Quick google search shows 28% acceptance rate that is almost 10x more than some pacific and eastern Ivy schools. Lots of schools with half the acceptance rate of UMich.

For a region known to be humble, why is this far from the first time I’ve heard someone brag about their “Big 10” degree? Is it what they resort to bragging about when the self proclaimed “power conference” in basketball/football/hockey has literally one championship between the three sports over the last dozen years? Don’t compare your prestigious school’s acceptance rates to competitors in the ACC and Pac12–you might cry. Much less the Ivy’s and other New England small private schools.

Nothing says elite like a public university of 30,000+ in a flyover state (though I love the great lakes—not that UMich is even on one...). Christ, my wife went to a New England school with half the acceptance rate of UMich as well as Med school there which is 5% acceptance rate yet she doesn’t have a tenth the arrogance you display.

Insecure much? If you want to brag sbout something, might want to find something other than a McDegree and crippling debt

Only one worth getting is a hellcat, still would never spend a penny on an American 4 door sports car.

Hellcat is full of cheap plastic and the freaking car rattles. My friend has one and I laugh internally all the time. I have a 2018 A7 Audi prestige with the Sline and competition package. My Audi is also IE Stage 2, with upgraded exhaust and air intake and mine not only will smoke a hellcat in an actual race and is loaded with an interior made for royalty and exterior that breaks necks. No, it won’t beat the Hellcat in a straight line, but these aren’t dragsters. I’m talking a real race…with curves that the Dodge Plastic Hellcat can’t handle…me go straight all the time…cheap plastic piece of junk. The Dodge is unbelievably ugly inside and looks like it stole all the plastic off an elementary schoolyard.
