Why do people dislike jonny mosely?

But to answer the question, it is human nature to hate what you don't have.

The man helped get the idea of freeskiing out to the general public and helped put the wheels in motion for skiing to become "cool" again to the general public.

Sure the New Canadian Air Force was throwing way crazier shit long before Moseley's 360 mute at Nagano, but very few witnessed the NCAF's skiing.

Moseley did a 360 mute in the middle of a great run where he skied the course fast and fluid. He got the gold medal, and the whole entire world basically saw a trick that was 763214t727632 times cooler than what most other mogul skiers were throwing.

I started freeskiing back then, and can honestly say that Moseley's 360 mute did impact my actions.
 
oh by the way i saw him when he was on the weakest link and he ran that bitches shit so hard... he embarrassed the fuck out of her. He asked her to show her tits at one point and she looked like she was gonna piss her pants, and it took her like 10 seconds to think of something to say.
 
i think those of us who are slightly older and remember what it was like before he did that trick. I'll admit it was that trick and Ski Movie 1 that really got me into skiing.
 
Ive never met him but I have an autographed poster of him on my wall. I think its from the first icer air or whatever. I think that hes cool, people hate on anyone whos good really.
 
No matter who someone is or what they did, there is always going to be someone who dislikes them. There's people out there who dislike figures like Gandhi and the like. It just happens. Everyone has their own opinion.
 
hes a col guy, and a key part of the history of skiing. he didn't invent newschool skiing though, but he helped move it along. skiing is as old as snow, and people have been progressing since the invention of the ski. he just happened to get alot of publicity for the sport, which in reality helps us out by getting the average person to support skiing more.
