Why did the chicken cross the road?

Searchbarred, if this is a repost then please proceed to metaphorically sodomize me with a fence post.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side, as in death, the afterlife.

Fuck my mind.

the only thing ive ever hit with my car was a chicken that was crossing the road. i did it because i loath chickens with passion and wish to kill them all, but after it happened i realized the irony of what i had done and i think im a better person because of it.

always mind fucks me, how do we know that when i see the color green it is the same as the way you see your color green, we both call it green but how do we know it looks the same.

Using the text visually to think? Maybe they develop their own prononciation for each letter in their head. I'm not an expert on deaf people, I was just throwing out an idea.

It's not hard. When you type, you might think about how it sounds, but when you're up late and tired while writing a report, your mind can go into an autopilot mode and type without really thinking about too much. You are, in essence, thinking in text.

yeah haha i really have no idea, but it just doesn't seem like they would be able to imagine sound of any sort

They don't think in a language because they have no clue what hearing is like.

You can only think in a language because of memories you've picked up from hearing it. If you have no memories form hearing something, how can you simulate the sound of it?

It's almost like asking you to move your tail. You don't have a tail, so have no idea how to, or what it's like.

I have honestly thought long and hard about this, and I have concluded that we all must see the same colors because not only do we have the same genes for eyesight, but colors give off a certain feeling such as blue is calm and red is distress; therefore, the colors must be the same or we would have different feelings than others to certain colors.

You could argue that this is because the colors are subjective. Such as blue giving off calm due to it meaning it's a relaxing, sunny day. You could also say that, if this is governed by a gene, then the same gene that controls eyesight, controls our view on colors.
