Why can't I chat in the chatroom?

check to see if your javascript settings are all enabled, and if it still doesnt work, you may need to d/l and IRC codec. I'll check the chatroom and make sure it is still running correctly. The IRC server has been giving us some shit recently.

now i feel dumb, not javascript, but java. The IRC based chatroom runs off of a java applet. Make sure you have java enabled. I just re-set the chatroom, and it seems to work fine.

give it a shot, when you get in, it should say 'Welcome to the Newschoolers.com Chatroom'

i cant get into the chat on this computer either. the settings on this computer are the same as my other one but it just doesnt work on this one. any ideas?
