Why buy new stuff?

Hey all, i want some people's opinions. Unfourtunately, I live in the midwest, so i only go skiing 1 to 2 weeks a year. Do you think I should invest in my own equipment?

It also depends on your skill level. Some resorts in the MW have shitty equipment, and I wouldnt put up with elan scx's. Just look at cost vs benefit.

'I would be embarrassed to constantly complain about my life considering all the freedom and opportunities we have today. People that can't find anything they enjoy in life simply aren't giving it a real try.' ~Nick 311

If you ski out on one of the coast for 1 or 2 weeks you are definatly better off demo-ing, but like someone said before, definatly buy your own stuff if your skiing in the MW. If you choose to buy, find some deals on last years models, a lot of the time they are the same pieve of equitment with different graphics.

get your own equipment. If you have to rent its almost like buying 2 lift tickets. Its worth it after a season. I would go for used or demos. Or find a good sale.

now there's a deal.

Def get some of your own stuff. Find some good deals on used stuff...cheapest way to go.
