Why are men like this?

So my friend was at a guy's house the other day

She was in the shower and saw a bottle filled with orange soap. She thought it was orange chronic (the stuff to clean bongs) but then he informs her that’s his 18 in 1 shampoo / toothpaste / laundry detergent / dish soap / shaving cream / mouthwash etc.

I was also at a guys house the other week in his shower. Looking around for a bar of soap or some kind of washing liquid. This man literally had nothing. Not even a 3 in 1 shampoo, no body wash, no bar of soap, nothin.

Why are men like this? I will never understand

I'll be honest, this is the first time I've heard of this 18-1 stuff. I gotta get me some of that.

While some of u are being ironic in this thread, a lot u probably do actually stink.

3 in 1 solutions are generally terrible products full of sulfates that can diminish the health of ur skin and hair. Although I do understand the economic benefit of them, u will never catch me putting that shit on my body.

I think a more appropriate question is why are women such fucking idiots to think men store bong cleaner in the shower?

hey dont shit on that 18 in 1 Dr. Brons, its the most economical thing and you can dilute it and make it last forever and save plastic too. also Hemp Castile soap isn't full of shit chemicals that make you smell like Axe and fill your pores with aluminum so its such a great deal

I feel attacked

I use what ever my mom buys me it’s for people with blond hair and has bees wax and honey in it apparently so that’s cool. And I’ve gotten 2 complements from girls about how soft my hair is and how good it smells after I started using it so imma stick with it. 18in1 is nasty most shampoos especially 2-1 or 3-1 are detergents to begin with and make my scalp and hair itch like made.

The fucked thing here is that Dr. Bronners is actually like the most legit soap product out there for body or hair and these females are complaining not even knowing wtf's up.

I had a change of heart

After trying this soap I have never felt so clean in my life. Wow. My hair is soft. It made my skin tingle with a fresh cooling sensation.

It was like I had a eucalyptus oil diffuser in the shower. My sinuses are refreshed. Im so impressed I even brushed my teeth with it.

Maybe the male species isn’t so strange after all...

Glad to hear that you have seen the light.

That is the only soap you need in a shower.

Plus the peppermint makes your no-no square all tingly.

Idk about using it as toothpaste but hey whatever.

I had this other peppermint-eucalyptus oil body wash and I accidentally snorted a whole bunch of it like a week ago.

I use this and love it, but it’s harsh AF on your hair.

Have you found something that works ?

I've been searching for a good shampoo that doesn't make my hair feel like hay lol

Do you dilute it first?

yeah, just isn’t the best for died hair, your should use a clarifying shampoo and strip all the heavy oils out occasionally. I didn’t and once I did my hair was much better.

This dudes got it figured out tbh. He'll never have to wrangle and bend a shampoo bottle to get that little extra last bit out left ever again in his life (or for a year at least)

Y do u shower in dudes houses?

Kirks bar soap is the shit and its not 80% water like most liquid body wash.

Aight first of all OP I need you to go back and ask him the name of that soap and where he buys it.

secondly, it’s because of the pure convenience. I use Irish spring 5 in 1 (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, moisturizer) because all you need to do is go in the shower- apply a fine coat on your entire body and then rinse. 18 in 1 would be a total game changer though! Would save me so much time and money.

edit:***

never mind it’s just Dr.Bronner’s, I use it camping often but it can be pretty harsh on your skin/hair. Wonderful stuff tho- my ma still keeps a bottle or two around the house.

Yep I was just going to say, if it's Dr. Bronners then it's actually really high quality Castille soap. I'm a dude and I've got all that Cerave, green tea shampoo, gourmet expensive shit... but if I'm traveling then I bring one 2oz bottle of Bronners and it's sick.

If these 2 dudes smelled/looked good enough for you two judgy judgersons to end up in their showers ogling their hygiene products, I’d venture they’re doing just fine.

I like nice shampoos and conditioners because I have super thick red hair that’s pretty dry/coarse so cheap shampoo is a no go for me.

As far as soap though, it’ll be a plain ass bar of Dove forever. Not a washcloth, loofah, brush,

etc. to be found….

Pro tip: do NOT use a man’s bar of soap in the shower, especially if it’s the only thing in there. That thing has been to hell and back.

I really like that Dr Bronners for washing concrete dust off. It seems to neutralize it.

Before, I was mixing vinegar into my bodywash, and it made me smell all sour.

Shampoo is a trap, I haven't washed my hair in like 3 years and it seems completely fine. I do condition every now and then though! Facewash is also a made up thing. My top 5 in order:

1. fancy toothbrush

2. toothpaste

3. moisturizer with UV protection, or sunscreen works too

4. soap

5. deodorant

I think that's all you should need and really 1-3 probably do it if you have access to a shower, although I'm not trying to find out.
