Why are guys not alloud to drink coolers?

its awsome how people are ripping me up for this. its a drink. i think they taste good. i also like vodka and gin. i drink beer. im not gay. they just taste good. saturday was my first time drinking them and i wasnt hungover at all.
 
oh yeah, drinking beer is so manly.. you show off your true masculinity when you choke down a drink that tastes horrible just because it looks cool to have a beer can in your hand. fucking people have turned everything into an image game, even alcohol. you drink it for yourself, so that you can loosen up when around people and have a good time and/or just get piss drunk... so why the fuck does it matter how you get drunk?

^to expand on that, i just don't know of any american beer that is as low as 2%. most are like 4-6%, same with canada i do believe. also the labeling is misleading:

there's a difference between percent, and proof. percentage is half of whatever the proof says. so 151 is 75.5% alcohol. If you're drinking 60% gin, its 120 proof, and that's some STRONG gin.

coolers are for chicks and maybe last resort situations where u have nothing else to buy and the beer store is closed or is too far away and u can't walk there and thats all u got.

anything that is sweet is nasty if you ask me, if some dude wants to drink them, I dont care, but as far as mikes hard goes, shit takes a ton to even get a buzz, and in general coolers and hard lemonaide and such costs more, and finaly, you better get used to beer, because Ive never heard of a colledge kegger with hard lemonaide inside. This thread reminds me of the scene in beerfest where the americans first get into beerfest and the germans are like you americans and your schmirnof Ices.
 
oh i know. its funny though.

like i said before. i am no bitch. i have no problem drinking hard shit, i just think this stuff tastes good. its like juice. i wouldnt bring it to a kegger or anything.

and plus, i am a lightweight, but i see it as a good thing. cheaper for me!
 
you can drink win coolers. but you have to somehow fassion a backpack and drinking hose to do so. also you have to drink at least two boxes to be considered a man.
 
Canadian coolers are 2l 10$ and 8% tastes like fucking juice pretty fun to get drunk off of bitch drink though

have you tryed the rockstar vodca stuff they have out now..that is a man drink id say and it tastes fucking allsome.personly i like beer more then hard licquar anyway.
 
cause i drink shit like lemonade to get rehydrated not to attempt getting drunk. HAving just one drink is ok, but drinking that shit all night is just gross.
 
get drunk off coolers? theyre .5% so have 10 of them and thats equal to one beer. no point and too much money
 
the reason its annoying for guys (or girls) to prefer that stuff, or drink them exclusively, is its a pain in the ass if your buying booze. and besides, once your tolerance gets up and it takes more than 4 drinks to get drunk the amount of sugar in those things will kill ya. one or two are fine, ill have one from time to time if thier there (mikes), but to get drunk, i much prefer beer. mixed drinks are ok from time to time too, but im used to beer, and liquor just fucks my world up.

The only time I've ever puked was after drinking coolers (among other things aswell). Now I keep that shit on lock-down, just like orange crush when I was a kid.
