Why 1000 skis isnt successful

1. It isn’t like anti-marketing, bro

2. The brand isn’t mysterious, bro

3. No chill dudes are riding them

4. The skis don’t sell themselves, bro

should’ve kept it chill and low key bro

I’m just saying they probably would’ve sold better if that crew just rode them for a year and said nothing about them.

the marketing felt weird to me seeing the bunch guys riding all mountain stuff and tight pants right after i love you too and ITTFMS

What Candide is doing with his skis is looking good.

He’s got that if you don’t know don’t ask kinda vibe going on that really seems to sell skis.

Really a textbook example of anti marketing.

They’re really keeping the brand mysterious, which is always good to see.

Haven’t seen many chill dudes riding them though, so that might cause issues.

But overall, I would say the skis have a high chance of selling themselves.

Now he just needs to put them up for sale on a hard to find sketchy website, and the skis might just sell themselves.

Obviously you are free to have an opinion about liking the brand or not. I don’t think you can speak to their success tho.

I really like the pair I got. I’ll also prolly get another model for next season. The skis are awesome.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, 1000 Skis is just a hybrid of Season and Jetskis

for real though, I’m still confused about who is the target buyer for these skis

rumor is next years skis are all blue and their promotion is gonna be a blood vs crips sale.... making everyone take a side in the gang wars, taking their beef to the hills

Dan u don’t actually think that Vish-Shoe thinks before he posts these things do u? lol

Do you know they aren't successful? Without knowing the inner workings of a brand it's hard to say if what they are doing is selling products or not. Just because you might not like their content or overall strategies, it might be selling a lot of products especially considering the different geographic areas you can target in skiing

Most of the time when I reply to shit posts or shitty trolls it’s usually just to speak a lil truth for the lurkers or unaware. Like obviously this is a half asses refry jet meme, to us. Some people tho might actually be in here to learn something about 1000 skis. So for that reason I speak my experience into the mix. Would be unfortunate for someone considering 1000s to not cop cause they didn’t get OPs joke and took it at surface level.

Don't know how much they're selling but they've got a good team, they put out a great video (a lot of broll ik, but I think it got some impressive awards), and they seem to be taking sustainability more seriously than other ski companies. That being said, the skis are not exactly cheap and the social media is "cringe" to a lot of people. Also, some of the riders are moving away/have moved away from street skiing. This is an understandable move, and I'm not judging them, but that's also another reason why some skiers who are more into street/park might choose to buy from another company. I want them to succeed regardless but I think those things might be causing them to miss out on certain audiences and capitalize more on other audiences.

Who are the other audiences that they are capitalizing on though? There are already companies that make touring and freeride skis with an eco friendly mission, WNDR and RMU, which are even made in the same factory. And most people I encounter on the skintrack, myself included, bought their skis online from a big retailer on sale. I also don’t think that park skiers care as much about climate change as other groups of skiers, especially compared the the backcountry side of the sport. So who’s buying these skis, tik tok kids??

Yea no that’s valid, to add on to the truthfulness.. I went outta my way n asked everyone I’ve seen riding a pair this year and they all said good things.

I was skiing at winter park on Sunday and I was smoking a bowl by my car when some random dude with 1000s and a 1000 sticker on his helmet legit tried to sell me a pair in the parking lot. He had a Scandinavian accent and said “he knew all the guys” or something and he could get me a pair. Can’t remember what he said his name was but he kept showing me how flexy they were and telling me he was their stateside rep or somn. I was just trying to find the most polite way to tell him to fuck off I was so confused where he even came from.

Chill out tough guy

The skis are expensive and park skiers don't buy expensive skis for the most part, its not that deep.

On3p gets away with it now because their brand has gotten big based on reputation and hype plus they have the handmade in the US thing going for em.

He’s an ambassador and also I think edited many fantasies later. He’s a late stage Bunch plant but he’s also pretty cool when he’s not trying to sell you 1000s lol. He gave me some Swedish dip at the level 1 premiere in denver and my face almost fell off lol

As far as I can tell, the more toxic shit is the more durable it is. They used to make canoes out of a plastic called royalex until they banned it, those canoes were fucking sick. Manufacturing gore tex is also super bad for the environment I’m pretty sure. The reason why everything was made better back in the day was because the rivers were also on fire lmao

People forget to make something super durable means it’s essentially bad for the environment and never breaks down
