Whose fault

So a few months ago a few weeks after thanksgiving I go to get some new boots. I got this years salomon spk kreations with a custom footbed from a professional boot-fitter. They seemed extremely comfortable at the time but after a few days of skiing they are killing my feet. My foot slides all over the place, i get really bad toe and shinbang, and my feet are overall just not comfortable. So should i go back to the shop and see what they can do?? or any other suggestions excluding "you should have gotten fulltilts." +k for good advice

go back to the bootfitter. what do you mean by whose fault? The custom foot bed may have deformed

I mean is it the bootfitters fault or did something go wrong in my boots, or did i do something wrong, or is tat supposed to happen which i assumed not so thats why i made this thread.

they were not really tight or loose they were pretty good fitting, but they just dont fit as well as they did after a few days of skiing and no they were for sure not big

i would say the liners are packed out because the spk ones do a lot, but since they are so new i don't think that's the problem...go back to the bootfitter

Well they should have been pretty tight fitting in the store, since the liner packs down pretty much a half size. Now, since you skied on them a few days they are packed, and that's why your foot is sloshing all around in it. There is pretty much nothing your bootfitter can do for you, since you have used them. Sorry man.

Thought i would put my two cents in also. I have the spk kaos and bought them really small, now they packed out and are really good, but it took almost a whole year to get them just right. I am a bootfitter also if that helps, what i would do if you came into the store with those complaints would be to put a shim in the bottom and possibly a heel lift, but not too much lift. it does sound like they are a little big, its hard to fill up that space but there are creative ways like foam on the sides, but that is a last resort. hope this helps
