Who's thefirst hip-hop/gangster style skier?

holmes definitely embraced the rebellious freestyle attitude...same with raps. but in terms of truly gangsta shit all i can picture in my mind is mick d.

definitely Raps. his opening shot in 13 is him getting arrested and his title reads Evan "Gangsta" Raps.

i wonder how many of you kids have actually seen or even heard of 13..

Ha, it's almost time for a 13 year anniversary of 13. PBP better do something rad for that.

It was also around this time that Raps had a Freeze interview talking about how he wanted to try jumping with a gun that he'd fire off mid-air to get the kick to send him into a new rotation. I still want to see this happen, but I wouldn't volunteer to film that shit.

I have seen 13 but man...you can't blame us for not being around during that time. I was 8 years old when that came out, I'm guessing. First time I watched it was when I was 15. Didn't even know what a park was until I was 12. You're not that much older jeff, you were watching underground ski movies in elementary school?

Evan Raps' part in the first Ski Movie was pretty gangsta, one of my fav segs ever. He's smoking a blunt for his intro...

do you expect these "kids" to have seen 13? you talk about it like its a bad thing or something. doesnt make sense.

Funny, I was wondering just the other day who made the whitest sport in the world into the blackest without a single black guy involved... Now I know.

well hahha yeah that was gangster-themed i guess (when is that shit from? like '99 msp?) but he didn't have the gangster style i think the OP was asking about. i guess the first guys with G'd up steez were really e-raps and mik-d...
