Whos school is closed because the FLU?

A school called john jay in n.y is off cuz there a sickness not the flu but like 120 kids were puking in school but they get better in about 2days but it's not the flu.
 
they closed every high school sporting event in texas. thats a lot of fucking kids...i feel so bad for them

ha, a little text i got yesterday.

 
there was an emergency meeting for faculty at my school today. they said that if there's even a hint of a case they'll close school for a 7-day period.
 
a huge 800-kid school district in texas closed when the raised the alert level to 5
i go to boarding school and their plan is to keep everyone on campus but not let parents come for parent day and not let us play other sports teams so we stay generally on campus and then if the flu hits campus they'll send everyone out so it doesn't spread too much
 
iuf tyhe flu hits your campus and they send everyone out wouldn't one think that that would cause further spread of the flu instead of keeping you isolated and on campus
 
The Maine ordinance is now that if there's any trace of swine flu in any Maine school the school is closed for 7 days. Today at school like 3 people had family members that may have it and the kids may have been exposed. 7 day weekend coming up!

if you guys out west have no school, i hope you're skiing. I'm in NJ, staying away from New York and their swine flu infected schools, enjoying the 80+ degrees weather.

I still wish i was skiing.
 
Awesome part is, I'm more susceptible to flu than anyone else and if I caught the regular flu there's a good chance I could die. Swine flu is even worse and the vaccinations I got don't guard against it. Guess I'm staying in for a while.
 
swine flu's a buncha bull poopie. if your 12 months old or 100 years old or you have the most awful lymphatic system and immune system then you might have a problem.
 
I live right next to Mexico and none of our schools are.

I heard Italy produced enough vaccine to cover literally half of is population, even thought there's only been like 30 cases world wide.
 
ha we were talking in class about one guy "taking one for the team." just call it in then nobody has to go to school. Ski trip to hood yay!
 
it would be kinda cool to have my school closed but then i just think about how bad i need to get my brit lit grade up and it would suck for all the seniors with graduation and all
 
dude, there is no vaccine for the swine flu. there are only antibiotics or whatever that you can take once you get it. it would take 6+ months to develop and produce a vaccine, if they even decide to take that route.
 
hahaha thats gonna be the next big thing, swan flu.

but i heard they are talking about closing our schools here in vancouver if it hits full pandemic level. its kinda ridiculous if you ask me.
 
there is no cases in my whole state, and yet people are wearing surgeons masks and glovers everywhere on campus. they take a period out of every classroom every day to clean the decks, and everyone carries around sanatizer. i think this is probably the stupidest thing i have ever seen in my life.
