I will be...I'm not sure where though, but hopefully mostly at meadows. I'm still working out the season pass thing with my dad, and t-line is tons cheaper...

Any recommendations on where to get a pass? I want to ride a good park and pipe (good rails are a definite plus) but I don't want to compromise on wicked terrain... any suggestions?

Also, I heard that ticket checkers at Timberline can be bribed with money/weed, so you can ride all day for $10 in his/her pocket... anyone have any experience with this?

no, but I have some friends who work at T-line and they'd prolly accept bribes...I'm not completely sure about everybody who works there though.

Meadows usually has a decent park set up with a few rails, and with enough snow and the right conditions, they'll set up a pipe or two. The rest of meadows is pretty good...heather canyon, which is the 'backcountry' can get some really nice snow, but it can be nasty and have crusty snow or ice other times. That pretty much goes for anything else. You get your good days and bad days just like anywhere else.

does that help any?

meadows usually has a few parks/pipes when they have their act together, a small one and a big one (big one-a qp and 2 40-50 foot tables, small one has the rails and 10-20 foot tables), and as far as rails go, theres c rails, a big rainbow, a few straight, flat to down kink, and one big battleship, one small battleship, and a big down rail. but that was last season, so the setup may change...hope that helped

timberline's jumps arent that big-i think the biggest one (when i was up there) was about 30 feet. and as far as rails go..there are a few flats, a flat-down(fairly short), a very short box, a small rainbow, a medium rainbow, and a small battleship i think. oh and i forgot to mention about meadows, then have a big box too.

when the snow's nice I'm up at cascade jumping off that crevass thingie or at heather. Over at heather and shooting star most other times anyways. Dun think much is gunna change in that way cause the girl I ski with-Taryn has cheer competitions and can't get hurt or else they'll murder her or something.

oh, and I have a question...do you know anybody from wilson HS that skis the park? Or a Robby that skis the park.

I will be up at Meadows a few times during Xmas break (I am from Oregon, but am at school in SoCal, so I am doin the mammoth thing :-) But anyway, Timberline seems a bit better on the park most of the time, but Meadows is trying very hard. They just constructed a new in ground superpipe a couple weeks ago, so this year they won't have to rely on snow.

Timberline really sucks if you like anything other than the park. Hard blues are the most difficult runs there, and there are no cliffs. Meadows has lots of semi-outback type terrain. Heather and Clark canyons are always pretty empty and you can get some good powder there. Listen to AbeK, he knows what hes talkin about most of the time (he's my younger bro)

Hope to see everyone up there sometime this season. Hopefully meadows will be open by Thanksgiving so I can ski there while I am up for holiday.

Sweet. Maybe you and abe could give me a ride up during christmas break? please?
