So...I've recently returned to NS from a 2.5 year hiatus and obviously noticed that A LOT has changed since the last time I was somewhat active in the forums.

This PG13 comp that just popped up on the homepage made me feel old...It also made me wonder whether there are any people on here who actually have jobs (as in career jobs, not part time spending money jobs), families, etc.

If there are, it's pretty amazing that NS can draw such a diverse crowd.
 
i havent gotten to that point in my life yet. im scared for it too. how is it? i heard it sucks.

I'm not married, but 29 - with a full time career (one that takes me around the world and out into all the oceans and crazy places!! Oil Industry...it's awesome fun) and pays me enough to be able to afford loads of time shredding as well as cool stuff.... best of both worlds for those kids at school thinking about sacking it to bum at a ski shop.... don't do it!

 
i'm 24, still in college but getting close to graduating. not married, but one of my good buddies who comes on here a lot got married a year ago. him and his wife moved from michigan to washington for grad schools and to ski more. smart man.
 
I was away for a little over a year myself, came back a few weeks ago. I'm 22, senior at US Military Academy. I'll graduate in May and I'm going to flight school in August. I'll be a helicopter (hopefully Apache or Kiowa) pilot in the army for 6 years after flight school. Welcome back by the way.
