Who's in Tignes 2011/2012?

I'm flying out later this month and hopefully gonna be there all season!

I'm gonna be in Val Claret, who else is in Tignes? Be nice to see some fellow NSers around

I've been down Le Lac a fair few times since I've been here but pretty much solely for the Spar.

Gonna be fucking sick when everything opens up. It's a ghosttown!

We've had some early bookings from french groups so I came out on 18th oct.

I'm so BORED!
 
As I mentioned in the other thread in these regionals, I'm in Tignes from Jan 29th until 5th Feb.

With 7 other boarders...

I'm staying in "some place" called: Chalet Eterlou. So stoked!!
 
Do you possibly mean Les Boisses or Les Brevieres?

La Rosiere is an entirely different resort, it's not that far away but it is in no way connected with Tignes or Val D'isere
 
It's Les-Brevieres. I've looked it up on google and says that it's there.

I hope that's its close enough to some nightlife although as I'm only there for a week, I probably won't be going out every night. I would like to try and get first'ish chair most mornings.
 
There's some good bars in Le Lac and ValClaret, I havent actually gone to Brev yet because its a bit of a mission when the busses arent on yet.

It'll probably be pretty decent though, all the towns are a decent size, I just hope theres enough snow down there, theres no snow below like 2600m at the moment, at least freezing level is getting lower. :)
 
brev is pretty nice. i stayed there for a week earlier this year. not the busiest of places but there are a few bars around. underground bar at chalet chardons was good fun a couple of nights. just make sure you get to la folie douce (sp), it's a bar up on the mountain. best afternoon session place ever
 
just found this site so getting used to it im so used to mtb threads haha

anyway im in val d'isere for the season so just over the hill :) im ski guide for ski bonjour chalets wheres the place to be in the espace killy first time skiing there !
 


anyone know of any where in val d'isere that does cheap accommodation for less than a week? I'm in val d'isere 3rd to 8th January 2012 and need somewhere cheap to stay.

 
le folie douce! Dance on tables in ski gear. It's good fun, there's some good bars in Val Claret too, not too sure about d'isere though
 
I'm going to be in val d isere from the 8th--13th with edinburgh uni but im the only real nser in the club and would like to ride with some others as most just arent into park as i am. unless its properly powdered out i will be in the val park. I have a salomon magic suit so if you see me give me a shout, my name is alex
 
Does anyone know of any cheap places to stay in Tignes?? Found a hostel but it's booked out until March and looking at coming down for Feb and then again for X games... ideas??
 
hey man i work in val you out now then ? although im not a big nser would be cool to shred if your off out in town aswell make sure you hit up petit dan bar just behind coach station run by scandinavians

atm there is a lot of powder in the trees and in some bowls where the wind hasnt hit tooo bad just make sure you have bleepers ! josh btw just send me a message if you wanna ride ?
